This is an excellent park. It is located along the Maumee River. It also has one of the original Erie canal locks . Playgrounds, shelter houses, and walking/bike trails . Good place for family picnics.

Worth a visit any time of year. The towpath trails along the maumee great for dog walking. Canals are from remnants of river bypasses of erie canal system

Beautiful park along the river. Multiple play areas for kids, as well as a ball field. They have 1 indoor shelter house and several outdoor ones.

The Maumee River splits to create the side cut which joins the main channel about one mile away. Beautiful hiking, worth the stop.
