I visited this park with my family July 16, 2020. The best part of the park was that capacity was very low which made it easier for social distancing and the "wait" times for the rides, were low. The staff members were very pleasant all day and politely reminded people in the park to keep masks on. They also wiped down the rides after "so many" rides, during the day. There were "relax" stations where in certain areas of the park, you could take your mask off for some time. Credit/debit cards were encouraged on the website but cash was also accepted. I bought the "Funday Bundle" which included, a single meal, drink and parking for the day; this was a good deal and you could also purchase the plastic "refillable" cups once inside the park.
All of the rides were open pretty much and if it wasn't, it was only due to a delay in disinfecting/cleaning the seats. The windseeker was closed down for awhile due to high winds. A couple of rides were delayed due to a technical matter but was "up and running" within a certain amount of time. I was able to request the "front seat" for all of the rides I went on, (this was a bonus for me since I'm slightly uneasy with rollercoasters and believe it or not, the front seat actually makes it easier for me). My favorite ride was the "Backlot Stunt Coaster" and the "Flight of Fear" ride. I actually rode "Invertigo"and I must say, it was pretty cool for someone like me. I didn't get on the bigger rides though. Though the smaller coasters were more "my style", they do a lot of jerking and whipping around which is harder on the body but I still had a lot of fun. I was able to do everything I wanted to do during the day even though the park closed at 7:00pm due to COVID-19. The park asked that at least one member of each group download the Kings Island app and reserve your date and time to arrive at the park. The app gives "wait" times for each ride and other info. The park was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. Again, due to the park operating in a lesser capacity, it just made everything go a lot smoother. Everyone was wearing a mask and it didn't seem to be a problem. My mask even stayed on my face on all the rides. An added bonus was that Michael Williams (contestant from "The Voice"), performed 3 times during the day. My daughter was really excited about meeting him. The staff did an excellent job with accommodating everyone at the park. Thank you!!

The park admission for $80 was a rip off. 3 people were in the party for a total of $240
I have a handicapped son and not one show or exhibit was open . I have been to Orlando Disney with my handicapped son and everything was done First Class
Disney is a 10 out of 10 . Kings island is a 3

Our visit to Kings Island was very fun. The park was clean, and was well staffed. We visited on a Wednesday, and the lines were reasonable. Despite the parking lot being very full, it did not feel crowded. We enjoyed the old cars, the train, boo blasters, and the log flume. There is a good size arcade which took a lot of our time. There are many places to get a snack. We had a meal at the Skyline Chili Restaurant just inside the entrance. It was reasonably priced, and was very good. The souvenir drink bottle is a very good idea. Even if you are just visiting one day, it will come in handy.
Kings Island offers a large kid's area called Snoopy Land. Young children could spend a great deal of time in that area alone. There was live entertainment offered on stage at the end of the main entrance. A visit to Kings Island offers a fun day for the whole family. ( And for those of you who remember the Brady Bunch episode, there are some remaining rides and areas seen in that episode. Be sure to help look for Mike's blueprints!)

Kings Island is the worst theme park ever. Stay away. Staff was s rude. They advertise a Halloween Haunt and instead of 8 to 10 attractions like normal they have 5 and they charge you the full price. Then they advertise fright one passes but instead of selling them in the park you have to buy them online or you can't get them. Then I'm at a funnel cake booth and observer them turning away 2 children with cash. The cashier proceeds to tell them they are totally cashless even though there was nothing at the time on the web site. What a horrible excuse for a park.

If you’re coming to Kings Island and think you’re going to be safe from coronavirus think different. There is absolutely no social distancing and no mandatory mask wearing in the park. They are NOT taking ANY precautions whatsoever against the coronavirus that I saw. It’s like back to normal like there was no coronavirus still going on. During the entire day I may be saw 10 people in the entire park wearing a mask along with my family. I’m pretty sure this why the coronavirus is still going strong in Ohio because this place is a super spreader. I am triple vaccinated and still was afraid at this park of all the possibilities of getting coronavirus. There was so many people standing in line standing on top of each other coughing sneezing without a care in the world. I will not be back because I just didn’t feel safe whatsoever the entire day that I was there.

Full disclosure, my son and I are huge roller coaster/Cedar Point fans, so we knew this probably wouldn't compare when it came to the coasters. I hadn't been there in over 20 years and my son (age 14) had never been, so I decided to upgrade to a Platinum Cedar Fair season pass so we could check it out. Ugh. Money wasted. The day started out great, but as it went on, more people came. And more. And more. By the time we left around 9 pm, the park was so packed that it was difficult to even move around. Add to the fact that it was a "Haunt" night so there's smoke/fog blowing everywere to add to the confusion. (Yes, I knew that event was going on, but having been to the Halloweekends at Cedar Point, this was wayyyyyy more crowded than CP.) If you didn't have a Fast Pass, you were waiting over 2 hours to ride a big coaster The Beast or Orion (if it wasn't broken), and an *hour* to ride some of the "carnival" type rides. Food lines were easily a half hour long at least. Getting out of the parking lot was an absolute nightmare, no one directing traffic, cars cutting in and out. It took us 45 MINUTES to just get out of the parking lot. The Beast, Orion, Diamondback, and Mystic Timbers were for sure great coasters, but unfortunately I don't think we'll be back.

We are seasoned amusement park people and have season passes to both Six Flags and Cedar Fair. We have visited Kings Island in the past and have always had good experiences there, but not this last visit.

I tried to call the customer service line before we arrived at the park to get two questions answered. After 45 minutes on hold, the call was disconnected. By this time I was at the park and now I would have to take time out of enjoying the park and stop in at guest services to get my questions answered. While guest services did help, the woman who helped me made excuses about the long wait time on the phone. Well, that does not help me and makes me feel not valued as a customer.

I then sent an email when I got home and did get a call back from someone at Kings Island about 2 days later but missed the call. It then took 3, yes 3 days of calling to get to a live person to tell them I missed the call. I did get a call from someone in management the next day who did nothing but make excuses about the long wait on the customer service line "We don't have enough people, many people are calling about making reservations, etc". Again, none of this addresses the fact that I had to take time out of enjoying the park in order to get my questions answered. This is totally unacceptable.

I expect this kind of attitude from Six Flags, but not from a manager at a Cedar Fair park. I have premium season passes for Cedar Fair and am rethinking now if I am going to renew them.

Our family of 4 (20 year old/18year old) along with boyfriend/girlfriend went to Winterfest 12/4/2021. It has been 3 years since our last visit and Kings Island has definitely upped their game and made this event even better. Plenty to do for everyone with a variety of rides open, nightly park lighting event at 5:30 and a parade at 8:30. The parade had about 8-10 floats lit up with entertainment on them all. Definitely gave you a little, yes very little, feeling that you were on Main street at Disney for a parade. We all had a great evening! My only piece of advice is arrive at opening as ride lines get long as the night goes on.

We are platinum pass holders with full meal and drink plans and full season fast lane plus. Food service on May 8, 2021 was a disaster. Largest lines I've ever seen at every single food service station. The park reported slow credit card system. But the issue I saw was with service. It literally took ten minutes to serve each customer, notwithstanding the payment process. This occurred at multiple locations. Having to spend hours and hours waiting for meals defeats the purpose of paying for fast lane plus. I hope this is just working out early season bugs. If not, it it going to be a major guest service headache for the park

Last weekend I went to King's Island for the first time with some friends, the first half of the day was great and the food was some of the best I have had at an amusement park.

But what happened after the Halloween haunt opened up made me never want to go back. There were packs of kids just roving the park running into and shoving people, yelling at them for walking to slow. My group had to walk a bit slower to somethings because my husband is disabled and these teenagers would shove us and yell and if we told them to watch out they got in our face and yelled at us. Security that I had seen walking around all day was suddenly nowhere to be found.

Rides that had been 30 mins or less took over 3 hours and when the kids lined jumped and something was said they basically said oh well and didnt care. Because of this I will never go back to kings island and I feel bad for my friend who was so excited to introduce us to one of his favorite places.

The haunted mazes while they did great at spacing the groups out and their actors were great the scares were just meh.
