Lots of variety here - from clothing to kitchen gadgets to caramels to coffee to kids toys to a Christmas room. It's a good stop to kill half an hour. As my husband paid for our souvenirs I sat on a bench, on the shady porch, with a great view. Enjoying people watching, traffic, and listening to the Patsy Cline music they had playing.

Unique gifts and things for yourself in here. Unique items for the kitchen and Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Incredible yarn shop! Goats and sheep and chickens outside for your kids to feed or you!

The gift shop is well stocked with quality brands---Crabtree & Evelyn; wonderful cooking tools, nice selection of food items, decorative items, cards, candles, clothing, jewelry. The adjacent Yarn Store is a wonderland for fiber artists. This is a great destination trip!

You don't have to be a knitter to enjoy this place. Yes there is a whole shop filled with very interesting yarns and great sample projects. But next door is another general gift shop with all kinds of other items. The rest of us had a place to browse while waiting for my friend who is a knitter to take her time in the yarn shop. We tried some food samples and all of us ended up buying some of the wonderful jellies. They also sell fudge here. There is a small Christmas section in the back of the shop as well.

After wandering through the gift shops, we enjoyed checking out the flock of sheep in the barn between the two shops. This would be a great place to entertain the kids but all of us adults loved it too. For two quarters and a twist of the knob, an old-fashioned dispenser dropped a small bit of feed into my hand. Sheep from large to small pushed and shoved to get a nibble and lick my fingers. (Thank goodness for the disposable wipes we carried in the car!). The bleating sheep made us all laugh. Each animal had his own unique voice. One was a deep and demanding bass. Another had more of a high-pitched pleading tone. My favorite though, was the raspy voiced one whose bleat ended with a drawn out and seemingly exhausted gasp.

If you live nearby, they teach classes here also.

I first visited this shop in 2010 and couldn't wait to visit it on this trip also. I was not disappointed! Very helpful folks at the shop. Knitters, crocheters will not be disappointed! Very close to Lakeside and Marblehead.

This is the kind of shop you stop in to browse for a bit to stretch your legs and you are likely to find something for that one person that is impossible to get a gift for. Family owned and operated. They were prepping for their open house event next weekend, which EVERYONE in the area attends apparently.

I have been coming to this area since the 60's. I always have to visit this place before leaving. It is one of the best shops I have ever been in. It is a beautiful place to shop. Very unique items from jewelry, purses, shoes, clothing, soaps, bath products, perfumes, scarfs, food products, homemade fudge, distinct coffees and teas,a Christmas Shop, lighthouse items, souvenirs, tee shirts, all this in one building. On the back lot is a barn with a fenced in yard. They raise their own goats and sheep. Two other building on the property also sell beautiful items which some they weave there and sell. They use the sheep's wool to make sweaters and other items. Such a beautiful place to visit. Will always visit when in the area.

Local waitress suggested we stop in here for there unique items. Staff was very welcoming and made some suggestions of items to look at. Lots of the usual gifts and nick knack items. Better Merchandising and less overcrowding would make this a better shopping experience.

Found some great little goodies to take home here. Make sure to visit the Christmas room in the back. Christian gifts, clever greeting cards and unique goodies, as well as teas and fudge make this a must visit place.
