The sites
Sep 2020
Some of the sites are hard to figure out who's is who. To big of rigs on small little sites just so they get them filled. Shower houses were clean and kept up.

Nice Park
Aug 2020 • Couples
This park has it all including biking trail, beach and camping. Beach is nice but relatively small and parking can be crowded on the weekends. Parking is free. Bike trail is paved and nice. Lots of shade here. There is a campground but we did not visit this. Overall a nice park.

Invisible Beach
Aug 2020
The park may be fine, but saying a beach is here is a joke. The sand area is almost non existent, and with any kind of crowd, it’s taken. I know Lake Erie is high this year, but you can tell even in normal conditions there isn’t much of one. The only positive is other than some seaweed and large rocks near the shore, it’s much cleaner than algae filled Maumee Bay.

Beautiful State Park
Aug 2020 • Couples
This is a great park to visit to see Lake Erie, swim, bike ride, and walk the trails.
I don’t necessarily recommend the campground unless you don’t mind being crammed into spaces with neighboring campers incredibly close.

All in all it’s nice place for good family fun
Jul 2020 • Family
We went here everyday from
Thursday to Saturday! All at different times so how busy it was varied. The bathroom is disgusting it’s obvious that it is never cleaned .. something in that area smells like garbage.. ppl leave their trash everywhere and destroy the area with their litter.. you set up a spot and ppl think oh hey let me just set up camp on your stuff ....
but once you get in the water it’s all forgotten and you have a great time. I like that it’s kind of shallow because I have two kids and it’s easier for them to enjoy themselves while us parents enjoy ourselves. So all in all like this beach for what it is. They have tons of spots in shaded areas with picnic tables and grills so we stopped at one of the spots to cook some dinner before we went to the beach part and it was nice and relaxing.

Only thing is they should really keep up with that bathroom at the beach and ppl should stop being lazy and just throw their stuff out. In a trash can not where ever you please

Fun place
Jul 2020 • Family
This park was really nice. We stopped to play/visit along the way. Then we went to one of the beach areas. It was so nice. There was a cement retaining wall to sit along, if you didn't want to be in the sand. You could wade out a long way without getting very wet! The teenage birds in our group had lots of fun! We got a little sunburned, but thay was our own fault. There was a great lake breeze, so we never felt TOO hot!

Great Beach
Jul 2020 • Couples
We visited the beach area. There are great places to sit or picnic along the water in non swimming areas. The beach area is sandy and spots were plentiful.

Plenty of trails for walking, beach for relaxing
Jun 2020
We love to walk the trails that run parallel to the beach, as well as those through the woods. And once you get hot, it's easy to kick your shoes off and wade into the cool water. Clean and well-tended, trails are rarely busy.

Love this State Park!
Jun 2020 • Family
We had a picnic and swam at the beach. I love this beach but there isn't a lot of beach area. Make sure you get there early to get a good spot or you'll be hugging the rock wall and possibly a dead fish down the way. The water is shallow and great for kids and people like me who don't swim. There are lots of picnic tables and grills but also lots of floaties in the air that were kind of a nuisance to keep out of the food. All in all, we love this state park. It's our second visit and we will continue to come back when we are in the area.

Beautiful Beach!
Jun 2020 • Family
Beautiful beach for kids to play in the water! We stayed close to the parking lot due to social distancing. We had a whole little section to ourselves. Lots of picnic tables available. Restrooms were very clean. (Even the Port a John was clean) Showers to rise off the sand our located by the restrooms. Highly recommend!
