Lovely Park
Jul 2019
This park is so worth a visit to walk in, to bring children to play, to picnic, to fish, to have a cheap little lunch and to just enjoy nature.
You can rent a boat to fish on the lake, you can rent fishing equipment and buy bait, you can launch your own canoe or kayak. It is just quite lovely and so peaceful and quiet here.
They also have nice shelters to rent for parties or groups at extremely reasonable rates.

Nice Pleasant Park

Was a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed seeing folks fish there. Was lots of shade and the fishing shop was attractive. The building and dock was well cared for.

Great winter hikes at Lake Isabella
Dec 2017 • Solo
Hiking Lake Isabella after it snows, it's like walking in a winter landscape picture. You can see the tracks of the animals, you can walk by the river and actually see ice float by, or just sit in your car and watch the birds fly by.

Best stocked lake since.. well, forever. Reasonably priced. Offers buildings for rent, think family reunions and summer weddings. night fishing and small tournaments here too. Biggest catfish I ever caught came from this lake!!

The Fish Don't Bite
Sep 2017 • Couples
We have been here several times to fish. We have used every live bait and lure in our large arsenal, but catch nothing that is worth keeping. We catch plenty at other parks in Cincinnati, but not here. Some of the buildings here are in disrepair too. We do like to come here for a picnic if we can find a decent table at which to sit. Sometimes we just eat in our car and enjoy the scenery. There are many nicer parks in the Cincinnati area, but this is the only one close to our house.

Local fishing with plenty of fish!
Jun 2017 • Family
Great local getaway 5 minutes from home that offers plenty of fish, shade, and amenities. Plus, it has a great playground for the kids.
Small boats are also available to enhance the visit.

Quiet & Peaceful

A nice place to take a picnic dinner. Many people taking advantage of the stocked lake. The lake is surrounded by trees, so pretty. Especially in the fall.

Great fishing!
Sep 2016 • Family
My son has declared himself a fisherman but the fish don't seem to get the message. Lake Isabella changed that, and with several sizable catfish now under his belt, he's a happy camper. The permit is a little pricey for a teen who seems drawn there every weekend, but the friendly, helpful folks at the boathouse are great and even the shore fishing typically yields at least a bite or two that keeps him happy and inspired. Family friendly, nice place to spend an afternoon!
