Beautiful rock formations. Fairly easy trail on a one-way trail system. We visited on a Thursday afternoon, was not terribly crowded. The creek beds were pretty dry, not much rain lately. Saw snapping turtle sunning and you can see trout in the streams. The water fall was minimal but the walk was still worth every step.

Late afternoon visit to Cedar Falls a day ahead of the holiday weekend. Lots of people there! Almost gave up finding a place to park. But it was worth it...a beautiful trail setting...a waterfall, although not much water running, and people in the water despite signs saying not allowed. Most people followed the signs for one-way trails, and wore masks when it was impossible to social distance safely walking up and down stairs. Thank you!!

This was a really neat spot and a place you can get in the water if you want. During the summer, the falls are a bit lacking, but still pretty. We took the connecting trail from Old Man’s Cave, it was long and I would not recommend taking small children or dogs on that as some parts are hard to climb or get around.

We arrived about 11 am on a fall Friday, and this place was already crowded. The falls themselves are very pretty, but the overall hike wasn't as spectacular as several other attractions in the Hocking Hills area. Coming out, the trail is a bit challenging, especially when there are lots of people trying to go through very narrow passageways.

Hiked to the falls from the fire tower. Was a longer trail than I thought. Wish there was more information on the trail on how far it was. We had to ask others how much further since we had no idea and at one point we came to an area we thought might of been the falls but it was just park of the rock formation. The falls were nice but too many people were in the water around the falls, not obeying the sign no swimming or wading in the water. Maybe they could have a seasonal worker try to enforce the rules during the busy season.

This is another beautiful hiking trail/path in the Hocking Hills area.
Let me explain my lower rating.
My wife and I came here 20 years ago and it was colder and not as many people around and we really enjoyed this particular trail. At the end is the beautiful waterfall where you can sit and just watch nature.
This year when we came back with our kids, I was extremely disappointed in the behavior of those around us. Yes, there was lots more people here since it was summer time, but the lack of care some people have for natural beauty is stunning.

There are multiple signs that say please stay out of the water, but parents were letting their kids get in the water and under the waterfall to play and splash around. They were moving things and throwing rocks. It really made this the worst part of our whole Hocking Hills trip.

The funny part is there are plenty of places where you are allowed to get in the water.

Very simple trail and reasonably easy. We got there kind of early to beat any crowds and glad we did. By the time we were off the trail (around 11), the parking lots were full. Nice facilities, and solid footing all the way through. The fact that it connects to other trails is pretty nice. You can hear the falls and the water almost the entire time you are on the trail.

This is a well done trail with steps on every grade on the way to the falls. They decided to make it one way and this means you must go through a narrow passage that is A bit difficult. Not for anyone with mobility issues.
The water flow is seasonal. When we visited it was a small thin stream. Still this is a nice little hike for the able bodied.

My husband and I enjoyed this hike. It is rough in some areas but doable for us, both in our fifties. We only hike once or twice a year when we go on vacation. We completed part of the blue trail to Cedar Falls trail (yellow) then the Gorge Overlook Trail (red). The falls were not what we are used to. Somewhat disappointing. Maybe because there hasn’t been much rain here 🤷‍♀️

My husband and I visited the park early on New Year's morning. It was raining and the parking lot only had one other vehicle in it. We were able to be alone at the falls for quite a bit of time. It was a nice quick loop from the parking lot and the falls were beautiful.
