Didn’t provide tranportation until almost an hour after our scheduled time. The driver & his partner appeared to dislike the passesngers. Took us to the launch site & told us to get in. We are novices & my husband asked for any advice, the answer was “keep your balance or you’ll fall in.” The river was very shallow & we got stuck on several sandbars (I have a feeling they could have warned us about this). We took trip #2 which boasted a scenic natural Rockbridge formation that we never did see. We did enjoy the activity and the beautiful river. I would go again with a different company. In summary, the customer service was simply awful.

Had a great time. Rented 2 single kayaks and did the short trip. Had to book in advance but it was very easy. Highly recommend

Had a really great time kayaking! I would recommend reserving ahead if you’re going on a weekend. However, I was extremely disappointed with the COVID-19 preparations. The buses were jam packed to their capacity. Some people weren’t wearing masks. I really do think buses should be filled at half capacity, epecially in such a confined space.

We booked a last minute trip to Hocking. Never been there before. We stayed at the River's Edge cabin which is not at the main campground. The location was near enough to Logan to be close for grocery shopping and local restaurants. All the major hiking spots were 20-30 minutes away. The cabin itself had the amenities we needed (full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and hot tub). One benefit was full access to the canoes/kayaks. We were able to take out two double kayaks and paddle upriver. Then really enjoyed gently flowing back downriver to the canoe livery. Staff were friendly, laid-back and knowledgable.
