My husband has been going to Mid Ohio since the early 1980's and he was just telling me how much it has improved since he first started going there. We went to the vintage car races which he likes to go because they usually are on his birthday. One thing we like about them is you can down into the pits and talk with the drivers and take pictures and they are really nice to interact with. We even had a couple of drivers walk up to us and thank us for coming and supporting the races (after the pandemic last year). It's a beautiful course and we enjoy going about every other year!

Bit of a traffic free-for-all, including crazy old people on golf carts. But it was a really great day of Indy cars. Great view of the track. Perfect jumbo screens nearby. It'll take a few trips to perfect our logistics. Can't wait to go back.

After the Indy car race was cancelled, I tried to call and inquire about a refund, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. Going ot have to call my Credit card company and dispute the charge due to them not being available. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Signed up for defensive driving course for my son. Then they closed for COVID. Asked for refund since my date was canceled, and they were completely inflexible. Tried to find a date to reschedule. Then found out they had all these rules for COVID. Asked for a refund again. No response until I sent a second email (they consistently take a long time to respond to emails). No refund possible. Asked to move date until after COVID panic is over. It will cost me $100 to reschedule. I do not recommend this business as they are completely inflexible and seem to only care about the money and not their customers.

They call this the most competitive race track in the country and well named. High speed straights and technical corners. There are several great spectator areas to view the races from. There are races from car clubs as well as the pros, something for everyone.

Attended the IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course - what a great experience. I'd highly recommend, even if you are not a die-hard race ran.

This was our 6th time attending the Indycar race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and we love coming here.

The track is beautiful with many different choices of where to view the race. We usually get a spot on the grassy area overlooking the esses. The atmosphere is laid back and everyone is friendly. This facility also does not restrict you from bringing your own food and drink, which saves much money.

I would certainly reccomend this venue as a family-friendly place and a great place to have an exiting weekend.

When the track changed hands I thought it was going down hill. My previous review stated that. However, this season has been phenomenal with attendance, especially at the Honda 200, off the charts. Improvements have been made to not only the track but to attendees comfort. However, you can go to Laguna Seca, MAZDA (Sears Point) and any number of other tracks any day of the week and visit gift shops and get limited exposure to the facilities. Not so here. Lots of construction going on so maybe they're getting into the new millennia. But the history at Mid-Ohio.ranks up there with the best of the best.

We were not prepared for all that dust in our eyes and sand in our teeth! But it was our first time, I'll take a scarf or a bandana next year, cause we will definitely come back! I was expecting a big crowd, and I was surprised not to see it. I guess we don't have too many rallycross fans in Ohio!

My 9-year-old and I were driving through Ohio. He is a huge racing fan and was excited to lay eyes on one of the world's greatest road courses. It was not a racing week but we hoped there would be some way to take a quick look around, especially since we wouldn't be in anyone's way.

The only person on-site was a non-uniformed employee who was merely sitting in the security hut talking to a friend to pass the time. When we very politely explained that we were enthusiasts who simply wanted to take a quick look, she told us there was no way to see the track at all, ironically because there was nothing happening there that day. She told us that we weren't even allowed to walk up the small hill adjacent to the security hut that overlooked the keyhole. After agonizing over it for a brief moment, she eventually allowed us to do so, provided that we were only up there *for less than five minutes*!

To reiterate, a grown human being, who admittedly had nothing to do all day long, couldn't even be bothered to sit in an air-conditioned hut and supervise a father and his 9-year-old standing on a hill 100 feet away for more than 300 seconds.

Needless to say, my son was very disappointed. I admit that this place might not get many tourists stopping by in an off-week just to see the track and therefore might not know what to do in such situations. But anyone who would take time out of their long drive just to see a distorted loop of pavement is the epitome of a true race fan. (To be clear, I am not talking about myself when I say that, but about my race-obsessed little man.) Accordingly, any entity that interacts with such a fan owes something to the sport of racing to make an effort, however small, to make that fan feel like their interest and passion matters. That didn't happen here, and it made for a very long drive back to Albany.
