My friend and I come to MVG probably a couple times a month. We find it a fun filled, enjoyable place every time, win or lose. I especially enjoy the trotters and putting a few backs on my horse. Occasionally, I even win! We enjoy the free coffee and soft drinks, and sometimes Perks for a coffee and a snack. We usually just make an evening of it, and always have a good time. So glad they built in our area, so much easier to get to than the others...

I play just slot machines. This casino has the best payouts by far. Just be patient and leave when you hit it big. Have won just about every visit. Don't want to reveal my machines or strategy as they are often busy. You will enjoy your visit. Good luck.

We've been coming here off/on several years, but it's been nearly impossible to win anything in the last 9-10 months. I wonder if they're trying to recoup lost money from the covid shutdown? I would've guessed they received some type of gov't money so I just don't know. It irks me that on super busy weekend nights, very few handpay jackpots are announced. & during the day, I've noticed the rare jackpots are mostly under $2,000. The free play is also laughable. $5 or $10. I just miss being able to be up a few hundred on occasion & having fun. Now we just feel ripped off. My husband (the high roller) got disgusted and quit coming for 6 months in 2019...& the machines weren't nearly as tight as they are now! We won't be back any time soon.

Thought that employees were very rude and disrespectful to customers. Place was very dirty garbage cans over flowing tables were very dirty and nasty at food courts. The people standing at the booth when you walk in were very rude to customers so I was glad that I told them that I was glad that I gave that place a very very bad review. Machines are so tight that pay outs are very low that is if you even win any pay outs. Their food and drinks are way over priced. It is not fun going to this casino because you never win all they do is take your money and give very little back in return for all they have taken. No I do not recommend this casino to anyone you'll better off staying home and watching a movie and save your money.

Miami puts out a flyer, come in and on every Tuesday starting at noon, when you put your players card in a machine you get to choose from one of 5 Buckeyes on your screen and it will award you anywhere from $5.00 to $1,000 in Free Play.
This promo started last week on Tuesday 211/2020- Not only did the Buckeyes not come up on the screens (They blamed a new computer upgrade and they were sorry), after waiting in line to see what was going on, the lady at the counter took my card back to her Supervisor and said that he put the highest amount I was eligible for on my card. I put it in a machine and saw that they had given me $5.00. How is this possible? ALL 5 Buckeyes were valued at $5.00? that does not meet their promo guidelines.

Today Tuesday 2/18/2020 at noon, I at least got to see the Buckeyes on the screen and was able to feel like I had a random choice in selecting a buckeye, and ended up with $5.19 in free play. Only problem was they computer did not put the value on my players card. After waiting in line AGAIN, they tell me computer upgrade, wait a half an hour. Nope, it was still not on my card. I wait in line with the rest of the Miami Valley patron's to have the lady ask me, how much did it give you? I tell her $5.19. She rights it down on a notebook paper and says they will add it in manually in an hour.

I meant $59.90, seriously? She is just going to take my word for it? and then manually enter it in the system. It is a good thing I am honest, because Miami Valley is NOT.

Lying in their Promo Ad
Product doesn't work

Losing many many frustrated patrons that have been coming the a very long time. !!

We stopped on a Saturday night and the place was packed! It was a bit hard to get on a slot machine. I wish there were more 25 cent machines. Noise level is high since it isn’t super big. A band was getting ready to play so would make it even louder in the casino area. Overall a fun place and we enjoyed our visit.

Purchased two beers and sat down at our first machine to play. A worker came over and said hi how are you and then told us like we were children to put on our mask and how we should drink. Now they want you to take a sip and then put mask back on. We should have left then but stupidly stayed. Machines are tight and gray haired jerk worker should have been nicer!

Drove over 67 miles from Downtown Cincinnati to Miami Valley Gaming only to find it was updating their slot machines. Casino didn't open for slots until 12:40PM today but nothing was posted on their website the night before or today and I didn't receive any notice on email.
Wasted over two hours to get there in pouring rain and terrible traffic jams and not able to play any of my favorite slot machines. Several staff members told me the upgrades wouldn't be completed for hours. Front desk worker was extremely rude when I asked about how the casino notified their customers. The only place I saw a notice was on their Facebook page after the fact. Plus, once inside, I saw the messages on the electronic signs but they were referring to last night with the upgrade being done and the casino would be closed. Nothing mention about how many slot machines were down at 1:30PM while I was there. At least a quarter of the slots machine were offline which including all the ones I wanted to play.
Horrible customer service, a waste of time and gas!

In January I had reviewed this venue as a "Work in Progress". It has been 6 months since then and here is a follow up on "Miami Valley Gaming" .
Comp Program:
When the place was open I was given an "Elite" card as a match for my level at other casinos. At the time the only thing that was available as a "perk" was a special parking area. In the past 6 months I have played there and have earned "Elite" (their top tier card). To this day the parking area is the only perk that separates their "Elite" players from the players just walking in the front door for the first time. There is NO Vip Lounge. There are NO special lines at the restaurants, This is the ONLY "casino" in the world I have played in where a "top tier" player waits behind people that are SIGNING up for a Player's Card at the player club windows. Ridiculous. There are no special lines at the restaurants. You receive a 25% discount at restaurants, BUT if you use comps, that is not honored. What??? The fact that you can "order a drink" from your Slot Machine is touted as a "perk" for Elite or Premier players. Are you serious? That's a common practice for ANY player in EVERY casino on the planet. That's not a "perk".
The hosts have ZERO authority to comp anything (including food) to a player. There have been a few "VIP" dinners that have been held. They were cool but the chef left the Prime cuts of beef in the frig and brought out the USDA Choice for the event at Cin CIty. Seriously? The level of play that one must maintain to reach the "Elite" status at Miami Valley Gaming would garner you free cruises in the Caribbean with some area Comp Programs or chartered flights to Atlantic City with others. At this venue it won't lend you a $29.00 piece of "Prime Beef". Incredible. If you are a higher level player I would recommend staying clear of this venue as you may be better off investing your money in a Program that you can actually receive value for the dollars expended. This is the worst venue I have ever played at ANYWHERE on this planet for Comps or perks.
Dining Options:
"Cin City" is their "fine dining" destination. When it first opened it was lacking in a lot of areas. The meat selections offered were USDA Choice and were not very appealing. Since that time Management has changed the menu, added better meat and fish selections and it has drastically improved the experience there. The service is always excellent and the food is great, Michael is the Manager there, and it is obvious he values his guests and is doing a great job trying to maintaIn a top notch environment for people to enjoy. The place is a 9.8 out of 10 and I would highly recommend giving it a try. You can't miss with the Shrimp Cocktail, New York Strip and Asparagus.
"Acres Buffet": I have eaten here for brunch, lunch and dinner. If I was not spending "comp dollars" on it I would avoid the place at all costs. The service has always been good. The food quality is not the best and the selections are limited in comparison to other casino buffets I have eaten in. The salad/greens option is very limited and they do not a offer variety of salad toppings. The entrees are hit and miss and what one would expect at a most buffets. The desert bar is always good. A 5 out of 10.
Gaming: The reason anyone that comes here comes here! Great selection of machines. The place is clean, organized, and has an ample variety of most games manufactured in the last few years. It is easy to navigate and there are plenty of cash centers stationed around the place. Every employee I have ever had contact with on the floor has been great. The machines go from being "tighter than grandma's canning jars" on one day to being "looser than a XXXL shirt on a canary" the next. The place is non-smoking and the restrooms have always been spotless. They only have one drink station available and that should change, since to this day drink service is spotty and unreliable whatever time of the day you are there.
If you are a serious Casino patron looking for comps/perks this is NOT the place to venture to. If you are looking to enjoy some time messing around at a clean, friendly, venue and maybe enjoying a good steak.....then you will LOVE this venue. Miami Valley on your comps and how you treat your high level players. There are way to many other options locally to allow for such short falls in this area......
