Very nice place to go for a walk or a ride on your bike. You can stroll along the river on a walkway right by river. There are benches and a couple of swings. There are three restaurants down there two full service restaurants and one hot dogs and ice cream. Than you can extend your wall or ride out... More

We have lived in Huron for 41 years and have seen a lot of changes in the Pier Area. We lost a great restaurant but we gained an expanded walkway to the Huron Lighthouse. The land at the end of the pier was expanded also and public access is being considered. On any given day you will find families walking... More

We stopped here around sunset after dinner one night. The view was amazing with the pier on the lake and the lighthouse at the end. Great place for an evening stroll. You can even see Cedar Point in the distance.

I wanted to go for a run on our trip and found the pier. I ran it 4 times for about 3 miles. There were people fishing, couples walking, just a very nice atmosphere. It felt very safe and was very close to the place we were staying. Very calming and peaceful except for the running!

The city of Huron updated this walk way to make it more pleasant over the last 10 years since I have been there! There are benches throughout and the pier to the lighthouse is handicap accessible. The view is beautiful!!

Nice walk towards the lighthouse but no actual access to it. Great view of the sunset with Cedar Point in the background to the west & the boats to the east. Some benches & rocks to relax on; a stairway leading to the small sandy beach.

The pier was always a nice place to get a little lake air and a walk with a water- view, but now that they have done some nice additions and cleaned up the area, it is beautiful & even more pleasant. A lot of people come here to fish off of the pier. It is pet- friendly and there are... More

Fun in the summer with local festivals and fun to watch the boats and tankers come up and down the river to Lake Erie

Walking along the river in Huron is always a treat. The boats, birds, and vistas are always lovely. There are many who only stroll the pier in the pleasant weather, but I feel the best experiences are when the lake is raging and the air is raw. At this point, you feel the true power of our great lake!
