This beach is a hidden gem on the shores of Lake Erie. Plenty of space on the beach to get a great spot on the water. A shelter is available to have a party. Very relaxing and a fun spot for the summer. Only 5.00...More

A nice sandy beach in huron. Fee for parking but the water is clean and it is a great atmosphere for families. Currently one of the most publicized beaches in the area.

My family of 6, which includes my kids ages 7,9,14,and 17, spent 3 lovely days at Nickle Plate. It wasn't crowded, the sand was soft,we cleared a space free of random driftwood, and set up our umbrellas, towels, and beach toys. Did we encounter several dead fish in...More

We very much enjoyed our trip to Nickel Plate Beach. The parking cost was reasonable, the beach was clean and not over crowded even on a sunny Saturday. I wish they had a shower to rinse off, but we will likely go back.

I took my four kids to visit this beach and we had a blast. I love that it has the paddle shack where we can rent floats for a fair price. The huge mat was a highlight for my kids and I rented a comfy...More

First time at this beach with little children. and it was fun! Very clean, they have a cute little shop to buy floaties and snacks. It cost to park, but you could also park down the road and walk. Only negative thing to say is...More

Beach was nice but I was scared to walk barefoot. There was a lot of debris and looked like sharp things.

Yes we have found Seaglass here. A lady we rented a cottage from in the neighborhood told us it's there. Darn, just white pieces though, nothing colorful. It's still fun to look for it.
