I visited Case Barlow Farm for a holiday event. It was lovely! The house is restored immaculately and I understand the barn will soon be restored too. The grounds are vast and I have been back since to walk the mile or so loop, for exercise. It's a lovely place - check it out.

Case Barlow farmhouse was built in 1814 on the farm of Hudson pioneers Chauncey and Cleopatra Case. The farmhouse has been lovingly restored by a community group, which provides tours on the second Sunday of the month June-September. They also have an Arbor day event scheduled for May 1st, 1-4p.m. and a big fall festival. This is a delightful little museum that gives you a real sense of what Hudson was like in the early days of its founding. The house is one of the oldest homes in town, with bricks fired on site. A City park behind Case Barlow Farm is perfect for a picnic and a walk after your tour.…
