Great open range zoo. Get up close with some pretty exotic animals, not all African. Well laid out, lots to do, for kids and adults.

We recently pitched in together to purchase two tickets for our parents to have the 'Slumber Safari' (glamping in the park) experience as a special gift after a big life event. Prior to the safari one of my parents had an unavoidable work assignment that meant that they wouldn't be able to arrive on time on the Friday night start... More

We visited as grandparents with our family . Whilst the entrance fee is quite expensive you do get good value for money as there are a variety of facilities and exhibits plus educational programs for children and adults alike, The safari bus ride is a highlight as you tour the open range zoo and get quite close to a number... We stayed at the Slumber Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo in December and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although quite expensive, it is one of those activities that you don't get to do very often. The whole concept is great. We arrived at our allotted check in time (2.45pm), parked in our private car park, checked in, allotted our tent cabin... More

What a great place to have a Christmas function overlooking the enclosure. Great service and food. Couldn't ask for a better place to hold a corporate event. Will be back.

We had a great time at Werribee Zoo. All the animals were visible, they looked healthy and happy and even the staff seemed to enjoy being there. We paid a little extra and took the Off Road Safari which gave us an incredible up close experience with the animals - and with the tour being limited to 14 guests it... More

We went to three zoo/animal parks and this was the family's favourite. The whole place is very big and the open range safari like feel gave it high marks. My mum wasn't able to walk much on this trip and the safari truck ride allows her to enjoy the major attraction of this zoo.
