This quaint local show tells the story of convicted on Sarah island in the early years. The cast are fun and do a great job. The same guys do the commentary on Sarah island when the cruise boats go there in the day. I'd you have time, book a later dinner and see this show first.

Very clever presentation of an amazing convict story. History comes alive . A amazing but sad tale of convict ingenuity. I found myself feeling sad that they where caught. Most of the audience probably shared that view due to emotive but funny performance of the actors I would advise to do the Gordon River cruise first and in that visit Sarah... We were in Strahan for two days and were recommended to go to this performance by several people. Usually sceptical about recommendations we really have to say that this show really does deserve all the positive reviews! Although the show has apparently been running for years it always seems fresh and is hugely enjoyable. As others have said there is... More

Great show!! After a day on the harbour with Heritage Cruises - which was where we came across one of the characters at Sarah Island - this was a great way to top off the evening. A two man show with lots of audience entertainment - if you are a cranky old fart this isn't for you. Told a great... More

The two actors delivered a clever 90 min performance that was worth every one of the AUD20 dollars spent on price if a seat. Be ready for audience participation. Avoid taking children as it ruins it for others. Clever setting of the story of the last ship built being taken by convicts to escape to Chile. Thoroughly recommend, even better... More

This show was way better and impressive than I expected. It is brilliantly conceived and cleverly performed. For a show that has been running for so long, there is nothing about it that I thought was tired or flat. The historical narrative that is played out is very interesting and so relevant to the location.

This starts at 5.30 pm and we were surprised how many people were in the audience. As there are only 2 actors, the audience participates so there is a lot of comical remarks.

Show was promoted on Gordon River cruise. It was so much more than we expected. Lots of laughs but also telling amazing story.
