I almost didn’t have the nerve to attempt this walk due to some of the reviews on here but I’m so glad I did!! I’m only of average fitness, scared of heights and certainly no “climbing” experience but this hike was honestly so much fun!...More

I am not an advanced bushwalker or climber and found this very difficult & scary. I believe having the right shoes with grip, would have helped a lot! Don't do this if you are not experienced or ill equipped, will be very dangerous! Fantastic views...More

This is the 4th time we've done this walk and it is always different. Clear blue skies, cool weather and a light breeze made for perfect walking. There is a bit of scrabbling and some rock climbing involved but if you are reasonably fit and...More

Amazing climb. The view is spectacular, 360 degree view of the bay and a challenging climb. Having said that I have never climbed before and I could do this in 2.5 hrs up and down. I think if you're young and fit you will be...More

They do not joke about the rock scramble bring steep, seriously only attempt if you are serious about some light climbing to get to the top. The trail winds up steep open rock faces, but with that being said I am a chubby dude that...More

Bit sketchy in spots- but with use your hands for support and good hiking boots it wasn't too hard, it was actually really fun (mind that I find rock wall climbing fun!) We did it for sunrise- well worth it. Amazing views. Simply breathtaking. I...More

As seasoned walkers we set out fully expecting to get to the top and take in the view. About 3/4 of the way up we encountered several people, younger than us, who said they couldn't make it because the last haul is so steep and...More

Great views all the way up and amazing view at the top. Not recommended in the wet as rock faces are very slippery.

This beautiful mountain situated in Freycinet national park is certainly advisable. There are introductory signs at the start of the path upwards stating the level of the climb and how long it takes. The difficulty of the climb itself depends on how fit you are....More

Read the reviews on this beforehand, and most describe the walk well. I'm a middle-aged bloke who is very fit, and I found it quite challenging. Lots of rock scrambling and coming down rock faces on your backside, so be ready. Do not attempt this...More

If she is a regular bush walker I believe so. She is probably much fitter than I am. Good shoes, plenty of water. Enjoy.

For the Mt Amos climb (not the wineglass bay hike), it took me & my boyfriend 1.5 hour to climb up, granted my boyfriend had to stop a lot to help me up. Agreed that the rocks become very slippery, even in dry conditions (Do... More
