This was a wonderful discovery found on the drive to the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. From a small carpark there is a 15 minute walk each way along a well formed but rustic track with quite a few steps in places. There are several nice viewpoints...More

Not an easy walk down and back but well worth taking the trouble. If you're lucky you will have the beach to yourselves to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere and beauty.

One of the short walks in the Freycinet National Park. It took about 15 from the Carpark. The walk is fairly easy however there are sections of step made out of rocks - uneven & slippy, so not so good for those with mobility issues....More

This beach has got sandstones on it and has some massive rock formations. I found this place great to sit and enjoy the beauty of the beach. A must place to visit while visiting national park.

This walkthrough short does require some effort as you need to traverse many steps down to the little bay from the car park. The bay itself is not recommended for swimming as it’s rough with lots of rocks. Some great photo opportunities with the lichen...More

A 15-20 minute bush walk over a well maintained path and stairs. The walk is of moderate difficulty but is worth it for the view when you get to the bay. Not a swimming beach as such but dont let that deter you.

A must do walk up and down stairs and pathway (15 minutes) gets you to Sleepy Bay. What an amazing beach. The sand is actually very small pebbles and gives another aspect to Tasmanian beaches. There are some great rocks to go rock hopping, and...More

There were a lot of steps but fairly easy walks. There were a lot of flies around accompanying us during the walk. Very peaceful place with some interesting boulders.
