I do understand now why they ask the participants to be physically fit, a part of the day is to walk to and back from the canyon. The water is really cold but excluding that this is sooooo much fun. This is a great activity to discover the cradle mountain national park.

Did the Lost Canyon with my wife and two sons. As my youngest was 14, we were not allowed to the do the longer tour. We still had a blast though.

Me and my boyfriend signed up for the full day Dove Canyon trip and had one of the best days of our 2 week trip, by far! Our guides were really great allowing us the freedom to have a bit of fun, but also reassuring us of their presence so we didn't feel too concerned of any particular jumps etc.... More

We are a family with 3 teens and a 10yr old. We did Lost World as a family, then next day 4 of us did Dove Canyon. IT WAS AWESOME! Staff were fantastic. LWC was great as a family not hard anyone could do it snd a lot of fun. DC is amazing. It's challenging and we certainly did 'obstacles'... More

We had a great group to share the experience with - lots of laughs and adrenaline flowing. We were well protected in our allocated gear and the scenery was spectacular (helped by the fact it was a beautiful sunny... More

Overall, a wonderful day trip. The guides were professional, patient and fun and the scenery spectacular. It's important to note that you do need good general fitness and strength to enjoy the experience and at times put your fear to the side.

The canyon is both beautiful and exciting, show casing some of Tasmania's incredible natural beauty. Our guides were very professional, they looked after us well and kept the fun vibes flowing even through the scary stuff. We had a really great time with Cradle Mountain Canyons!
