The Charles Darwin Walk was a very scenic walk to Wentworth Falls where you follow meandering streams along boardwalks, sandy paths and stair cases.
We stayed in a cottage in Park St right beside the track and it took us about 25 minutes to walk to the falls.
This is quite an easy walk and very picturesque enjoy the bird life along the way.
Would highly recommend.

It was an easy walk, almost flat throughout. We took an hour each way. Jamison Creek was serene and peaceful. Weeping Rocks falls was beautiful. You need hiking shoes because many parts are wet and can be slippery.

I found this path lovely. It’s an easy walk and with a creek running next to you and under you the whole time, it’s serene. Thoroughly recommended for novice nature lovers.

An easy relaxing walk that takes you to the top of the Wentworth Falls. You will be following in the footsteps of Charles Darwin. Weeping Rock is always a relaxing place to sit and take in the natural beauty. The view at top of Wentworth Falls is spectacular.

The Charles Darwin Walk is a perfect short and easy hike to Wentworth Falls. Many birds and flowers and small waterfalls to enjoy along the way, and you will have plenty of energy to take the steep stone stairs to the bottom of Wentworth Falls if you want to enjoy the stunning vistas from there.

Less than five minutes stroll from Wentworth Falls Station, this 2.5k trail to the Falls is an easy trail through different eco-systems so wonderful fun for children and adults alike. If you can bear to be quiet, I saw many different types of birds. There are opportunities to sit on smooth rocks by the stream so take a picnic and make a day of it!

99% of tourists to the Blue Mountains head straight for Katoomba from Sydney. Katoomba is definitely the most touristy of the Blue Mountain towns with its cable cars, etc.

But we decided to do a more local experience when we visited the Blue Mountains and so we chose the town of Wentworth Falls. We left Sydney at 7:30am or so by train (opal card all the way) and arrived around 9:15-9:30 to Wentworth Falls. The town itself is small and cute with some restaurants, gift shops, etc. across from the train station. A 5 minute walk from there you enter a small park which leads to the start of the Charles Darwin Walk. The walk leads directly to the top of Wentworth Falls, and many other trailheads where you can do scenic overlooks or hikes to the middle or bottom of Wentworth Falls.

We managed to walk from the Wentworth to the bottom of Wentworth falls and back (via the Charles Darwin Path) in about 3.5 hours. This allowed us time to stop and hang out along the way.

The Charles Darwin Path itself was lovely. Not a lot of people around, it was well maintained, and interesting things to see along the way. It was interesting to read along the way about Darwin's visit to this spot (considering that Charles Darwin didn't spend much time in Australia at all).
