I have visited here a couple of times with small children and with my girl guides. I always want to take animals with me when I leave. It is a wonderfully well run place with happy and knowledgeable staff. We combined our visits with the attached nature walk. - this part is not wheelchair friendly. They do have a small... More

We have visited the Headquarters of Cats Protection and saw the wonderful facilities for the cats and their human carers. The visitor centre including the cafe and shop are well worth a visit on their own. All of the staff are friendly and make everyone welcome. This is a wonderful place to visit, but you need a strong heart not... More

Popped in here today on way back from Hartfield to show our daughter. Very impressed with the set up and the care that the cats receive. Happily, there were quite a few empty cases and of the cats that were there, most of them seem to have found a new home. There are cats of all ages, from kittens to... More

Me and my mum visited on 19th April and we were most impressed with how well the cats are cared for and looked after! All the cats were in their own comfy and very clean houses, they looked relaxed and happy. The staff looked after them extremely well and are very caring. We came because we love cats and the... What an amazing place! The staff are fantastic, very helpful and made the visit very pleasant. We stopped for some lunch, enjoyed the natural walk around the site and got to spend some time with the cats. Well worth a visit.

I took my two grandchildren to the centre today , just for something to do. We weren't looking for a cat to adopt but they are animal lovers. They enjoyed the bug hunt quiz ( £2) and loved running around the nature trail, despite the cold! There weren't as many cats on show as they would have liked to see, but... More

The staff here run an amazing centre and they should be proud of the work they're doing. I hope to be a cat adopter before the end of the year and have been here a number of times to see the cats as well as helping my parents choose theirs, which they collect next week. The centre is always clean... More

This is a great place to visit for a cup of tea after a lovely long walk on Ashdown Forest. The cakes are fantastic! There's a small shop with both gifts and pet food, comfy seats so you can spend some time, play things for children and not to be forgotten, plenty of cats for adoption. I would challenge a... More
