I ordered a Nikon D850 to use for my sons 8th birthday celebrations. Unfortunately the camera was broken and so I was offered an alternative. I had the alternative for less than 24 hours and decided it was not a good choice and simply did not do the job I expected. I returned the camera within 24 hours but was surprised to see that I had been charged the full amount for the camera for one week of hire. LensLab have offered me a 50% refund. This means I have paid more than £50 for a sub standard camera and not one photo taken! At no point was there any discussion of me being charged for a sub standard alternative that was not even used. And just now I have been left a voice message saying that the company were prompt in accepting my return as they believe unhappy customers deliberately damage their equipment! He confirmed that I had returned the kit in excellent condition though! I offered to pay for one day hire but even this has been met with resistance.
