A beautiful old building that is showing signs of disrepair on the outside. Yet when you walk into the foyer, it’s almost modern.
The picturedrome shows some of the latest films, tickets are a fraction of the price of the bigger cinemas.
Walk up the stairs, and the floor slopes, so mind your step.
The actual screen was covered by a curtain. The seats are a mix of old and new, they still flip up but have modern covering. Be warned they are a little on the narrow side but have plenty of left room.

I took my disabled husband in a wheelchair to a film here last Friday and I cannot speak highly enough of the help we received from the staff. Paul, the Supervisor, needs a special mention, manoeuvring the wheelchair, steering my husband to his seat, raising the seat so that my husband could see the film comfortably, being ready to help again as soon as the film was over & going to the extreme of taking him to our car, seating him & putting the wheelchair in the boot. His comment on our grateful high praise was that any of the team would have done the same.
My thanks to that team - & to the Manager of the cinema for employing such amazing staff. Bless you all.

What more can you ask for? All the latest films and such amazing prices. The snacks and drinks are great value too (shame some still feel the need to sneak their own snacks in rather than supporting the cinema).

Seats are comfortable and the new screen is a great addition. Looking forward to seeing their new building works complete.

Do visit this wonderful building when we can go out again. It is less than half the price of the big multi plex cinemas in Chichester, which makes one realise just how much those places rip us off.
The staff are polite and seem to appreciate your patronage. It is a local gem that we need to treasure.

We recently visited as a family of four to watch Elf. We were in a very new screen (2 I think) with lovely leather seats and a great view. This is so reasonably priced with a lovely atmosphere, I would not choose to go anywhere else. This is by far my favourite cinema to go to locally. Temperature checks and hand sanitizer provided and spotless toilets, felt very Covid compliant. Keep supporting our wonderful local cinema!

This cinema is one of the characters of Bognor Regis and is definitely a place worth preserving. It is over one hundred years old and has been refurbished. It shows all the latest films in its four screens and is incredibly good value. £3.50 for a ticket is fantastic in this day and age. The only complaint I have was that the seats were slightly tipped forward and were incredibly hard after an hour or so. Next time we visit I will bring my own cushion with me :)

M wife and I heard tenor Alfie Boe live in concert at the brilliant Picturedrome Cinema in Canada Grove, Bognor Regis. His Bring Him Home Concert was streamed live from London's Royal Festival Hall. For just £5 each we enjoyed the spectacular event in the comfort of this traditional local cinema. What an inspired idea for a delightful and affordable treat.

As we left we were given a flyer detailing other 'live' events from such venues at the Royal Opera House and the National Theatre. This initiative complements their bargain film prices of £2.50 in the week and £3.50 at weekends and hopefully is securing its future as an invaluable asset for Bognor and surrounding communities. Who would now pay neighbouring Chichester prices?

It is also Picturedrome's attention to detail and customer service that is so refreshing. During the interval at the Alfie Boe concert, for example, staff wheeled out an usherette-type trolley filled with a variety of ice-creams. I was first in the queue for our favourite ginger tubs - just £1 each. Not bad after a tenor for a fiver!

The price is, and stays fantastic. £2.50 during the week £3.50 at the weekend! The food/drinks aren't overpriced. Toilets are modern and clean. Staff friendly and polite. Book in advance and get there early to Q, epically for kids films. Only negative I can give is if your in for a long film, your butt will be abit numb!
Love it here though, has kept it's old charm whilst been modern at the same time

This is a small independent cinema which shows current movies but at a fraction of the cost and has character too.
