Went to Antique Fair at Hoare Park it was great all done professionally and safely. Went to the tea room and have to award the Covidiot of the week an older man wondering around who looked like the owner kept taking his mask off in the restaurant, he then had a chat with two men in the restaurant one had no mask, the other took his mask off while standing chatting, The staff were wondering around either with their nose and or mouth exposed unbelievable the place should be closed immediately if they cannot stick to simple rules. I will be sending them Covidiot Certificate

Had a great time at the farm my little boy loved meeting and feeding the animals. They are well set up for COVID with lots of measures in place to keep you as safe as possible. Don’t bother visiting the tea rooms though unfortunately they are not so hot on cleaning and because they get you to return to the counter to order social distancing is difficult. The food is okay though if you are prepared to take the risk or take your own antibacterial wipes to clean yourself.

Children’s farm good for the price as not expensive. My daughter enjoyed herself. However I was shocked at the lack of organisation in the cafe while queuing up to place orders. In a time where social distancing is imperative to keep us all safe, there was none of it. The queue meant that families were queuing up very close to families already seated, too close. Hoar Park you haven’t got it quite right yet. Lines on the floor are not enough to ensure customers follow the rules. As a business you need to take authority and have someone front of house telling customers what to do and where to stand. I’d say you even need to ask people to wait outside in a queue and a front of house staff member direct customers to a table when available and takes the order. I know masks are not needed if eating inside a cafe, but from the experience I had this week, you really need to introduce it when customers are standing to place their order if this is the method you choose to operate. Too many people too close. For me this isn’t a ‘Covid Secure’ cafe. And for that, I won’t return to the children’s farm until the pandemic is well and truly over.
