Alpaca walking experience
Oct 2021
Can highly recommend the Alpaca experience. Myself and a friend had a fabulous time meeting the other farm animals, goats, pigs, Lama, female Alpacas, emu’s, and sheep. We got to feed them and have a fuss before being taken to the field to meet the Alcoa’s we would be walking. I’ve never felt so calm and relaxed walking my Alpaca. What a wonderful experience.

Fabulous birthday treat!
Oct 2021 • Family
We had a lovely experience here today meeting and and walking with the gorgeous herd of alpacas. The owners/guides have so much knowledge and experience of keeping and caring for these and their other rare breed animals. Lovely to have the opportunity to get up close and personal with our alpacas Perseus and Scooby. The walk was a perfect birthday treat for our 8 year old daughter. Thank you to the alpacas and all at Middle England Farm for such a special experience. Felt compelled to write a review!

Truly amazing experience
Oct 2021 • Family
When we saw this experience on the Internet and we went through the website it was excellent. All the pre-joining information was excellent and we were met at the gate and directed to the car park

The initial overview and explanation about what was going to happen was warm and engaging.

If you have lived or live in the city and never experienced interaction with a sheep a goat a chicken a duck a pig or just been out in the fresh air with your family then this is the experience for you. The family that run this business make it feel like it’s not a business these people are dedicated to animal welfare and are dedicated to bringing the experience of interacting with animals to you and your family in a very safe way.

First you get to meet some goats and you are slowly informed about the things that goats like to do and don’t like to do and you can at that point get to know them.

Then you are allocated your goat and their name I have to admit that pie and Elvis were the two that stick in my mind the most. Pie was hundred from newborn and stayed in the family home until he was too big and had to go back out with the other goats this again shows the type of people that run this amazing operation.

If you want to get your children away from the telephones screens and actually engage together in conversation and something that makes us all laugh then this experience is for you.

I cannot imagine how tough COVID-19 has been for an inspirational operation that has welfare at its heart. That has been through incredible tough times and if you are looking to spend your money on something that is both good for your family and invest back into the environment and this is the experience for you

So proud to have met everyone and we will return soon ! Missing Pie xx

Perfect birthday visit
Sep 2021 • Friends
I visited here at the end of September for my birthday on the recommendation of a friend. It exceeded my expectations! We saw so many lovely animals that are so clearly loved and well looked after. And walking the alpacas was such a treat, they are such gentle, curious creatures and they really are so unimaginably soft! The guides were brilliant, really friendly and knowledgeable and made us all feel at home. Highly recommended!

If you love animals...this is for you!
Sep 2021 • Couples
I received the Alpaca walk experience as a birthday present as I love animals...as in obsessed!
If you know someone who can't pass an animal without trying to stroke them, then this is the thing for them! Every animal you can feed (apart from the pigs), and every animal you can stroke (apart from the female alpacas).
We started by having a chat from Dale who was the main guide, as a group. He told us some information and interesting facts about alpacas. He then showed us around the farm and introduced us to all the animals.
Dale knew what he was talking about, he was kind and answered any questions we had and was so enthusiastic about each and every animal, he is an asset to the farm!
We then walked down to the field where the male alpacas were (sensible shoes advised). We were given an Alpaca and told a little about them and then off we went on our walk. Once again, Dale was so informative! He made the whole experience so much better.
Once the walk was over we walked back to the farm, was able to take more photos, wash our hands and buy a few souvenirs from their little shop.
There was only adults in our group, but kids would also love it, but the alpacas are easily spooked as ours was scared of a sheep that was the other side of the field!
I can't wait to go again, next time for the goat walks!
All the staff are brilliant, there were two ladies (I can't remember their names), and Dale.
You will not be disappointed!

Relaxing Experience
Sep 2021
We visited Middle England Farm to walk with the Alpacas on a beautiful day in September. We had a lovely time meeting a whole range of small farm animals as well as the high light of walking the alpacas. Tom and his colleagues were brilliant hosts, explaining much about alpacas and we walked in a trail round the fields leading the animals. They were friendly and enjoyed the company. The whole experience was well organised, hand sanitisers before and after, a nice walking pace, a little shop for momentos, nothing too much trouble for the team. We could easily have spent more time there, it was a very relaxing and fun experience.

A wonderful morning spent feeding and stroking goats, sheep, llama & alpacas. I cuddled a chicken and scratched the bellies of dozing pigs! Walking the alpacas was very relaxing as they are so gentle…& incredibly soft! They were also cery strokable & cuddly. It was clear that the owner & staff adored their animals & their welfare & hygiene was taken seriously. A brilliant visit - highlt recommend it! 😁

Absolutely fantastic couple of hours walking the Alpacas. As an enthusiastic animal lover you can tell these animals are very very well looked after and the relationship the owner has with them is visible for you to see.

Great price too and you’ll come away happy.
