We save money on entrance fees by having an annual membership to the WWT. This centre is fabulous, well maintained and very well run. There are otter and flamingo talks twice a day, the otters are a joy to watch! During school holidays there are different activities on to supplement the usual trail. The best one is the pond dipping... More

The kids love exploring the site and seeing all the wildfowl. The highlight of the day is the Otter Feeding time. A family of 7 cute and crazy otters are enthralling for the kids and adults. Great day out.

Whilst appreciating the work that the Centre does - you don't really find out about this until you get there. I felt this was quite an expensive outing for just me and my two sons (9 and 1). The income from the cafe supports the work but is still massively overpriced for mediocre food in not particularly clean surroundings. The... More

We are repeat visitors to the wetlands centre, my daughter loves to feed the geese and ducks by hand and I love the otters, although the otters were awol on this visit due to them having cubs, so I'll be back again once they're grown and out & about. The variety of birds in the centre is immense, the signs... More

This is great day out if you have children or an interest in birds. There are hundreds of birds and they are very easily accessible. We went on a miserable rainy day and there were still loads to see. At times we felt like the only people in the centre as the enclosures are well spaced out and the hides... More

What a great day we have had!! Kids given list of birds to spot and a passport to fill in with every activity they completed. Staff perfect! They interacted with the children ( age 7 and 9) helping them in completing the passport activity. I was pushing a buggy and can be quite steep in places but flat enough. I... More
