A great pub, excellent beer great atmosphere.A proper old style bar , got some interesting curios to ponder over whilst enjoying your pint. Wether you are just popping in for a quick drink or longer . Can get really full at weekends.

This is one of the now rare traditional pubs we have left in South Shields. It's located in the town centre just 5 minutes walk from the S/Shields to N/Shields ferry. They do real ales as well as the more traditional lagers and ciders. Well...More

Had an evening in South Shields and intended to call here for a quick pint but stayed for a couple of hours. Very friendly with a top real ale offering. Will be first on my list when I return to South Shields.

On draught we have Stowford Press and in bottles Magners ,Green Goblin and lots of fruit ciders.
