Enjoyable day.

The kids enjoyed the rides. Would be nice to see some new ones. Ghost train needs a revamp. But overall had a brill day with kids. And will be back.

Be advised that they don't sell wristbands all the time. We found a Thursday in July was some sort of special event. You will need to check with them as website does not inform you they are not available.

Hi A J, On the wristband page of our website it does state that wristbands are only available on weekends and school holidays and states they are available from Friday 22nd July (this was previously Saturday 23rd July however due to a lot of school already being closed, we decided to move this forward 1 day). http://www.oceanbeach.co.uk/wristbands/ You may have... An ideal taste of fairground atmosphere for young children, plenty of smaller rides and side shows, without it being overwhelming.

It's a hidden gem this place! My daughters thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff are friendly. I wasn't aware this theme park existed until my girls went on a school excursion last year and they all had a ball! Not a great many major rides and the park is more funfair style rather than theme park but nonetheless it represents... More

i came here yesterday with my sister who flew over to visit me for a week. we have both never been, as I am new to Newcastle. this place is in need of some serious TLC. it was pouring with rain (standard British weather) which didn't bother us but pretty much all the rides were closed?? we asked the ticket... Great place for kids went 9th July. Booked tickets on line. Very few queues but we arrived on opening. Frog ride the best as on good 10 mins but some others are very quick. One was 4 mins think they should be at least 8 to 10 mins. Tickets on average 5 to 6,8 mins each and to be on... More

The fair itself is quite small with quite a limited number of rides, most of which have been around for years. There is also quite a few stalls dotted around offering things from food to typical fairground games and about 5 arcades around the outside to visit. The rides are generally quite tame most of which would be good for... More

We visited on Friday 8th July with my daughter and three granddaughters. The youngest has a physical disability and is unable to sit up unaided. She wanted to sit on her mum's knee on the dodgems, but, for her safety, wasn't allowed to because several other dodgem cars were in use. However, afterwards, she was allowed to have a ride,... Been here a few times during school term and its fun, but if you are scared of hights i would not suggest going on the yellow crane. There are a variety of toilets in the premises and also big arcade bases that feature 2p machines. Car park has a small fee other than that would go again in the summer.
