with many of the fairground rides and not too expensive, this permanent fun fair is ideal for children and there is something there for the adults as well. If roller coasters are not your thing then maybe a game of crazy pirate golf, always good for a laugh, or maybe the amusement arcade, where many of the machines take 2p's... More

On a Friday evening after 5pm it is only £1 a ride which means £30 quid goes a long way and makes a great evening for the kids.

We bought our wrist bands online as it worked out slightly cheaper than buying them on the day. I have to say they were fantastic value the girls went from ride to ride all afternoon and had a ball, well worth a visit. Only disappointment of the day was their final ride they queued to wait to get on, during... More

If a load of unregistered men charging ridiculous amount of money for shoddy, run down rides with flaky paint is your idea of a good time, please come here. It's just awful, and please wear earplugs unless you like a constant stream of profanity from tracksuit clad groups of young lads.

Authentic, old school seaside fun. Arcades, rides, crazy golf, amusements, candy floss, shove h'a'penny, fish n chips... all the fun of the fair. Evertone's cup of tea for 30 minutes or maybe longer...

Right on the seafront, around 10minutes walk from south shields centre, this place has a bit of everything. Crazy Pirate Golf, food booths, Blue Marlin fish and chip cafe, theme park rides, arcades, bowling alley, Sambucca restaurant, separate toilet block. The rides are expensive, as are the arcades if you want to actually win anything.

Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is a great place to have a wonder round. The arcade games are good fun... It's always entertaining to see how long your 2p coins can last! There's lots of fun music and rides here too, although we didn't go on any (we just enjoyed walking round). Having looked briefly at the prices, they seem similar... More

Spent an enjoyable couple of hours looking round the amusements, playing air hockey and eating ice cream. There are rides and amusements for both young and old. If you have a few kids I would recommend purchasing a book of tickets as these are more cost effect.
