Have just enjoyed a great pizza cooked by the new chef who has great plans for the food at The Admiral. There is now a reasonably priced specials board including fish and chips and Sunday roast or steak if that is your thing. Quiz nights are now so popular at this welcoming locals pub that you need to book a table.

Enjoyed a wonderful night at the Admiral last night. It is fabulous what they have done to make the garden a comfortable and warm place to eat and drink. Delicious and well priced wine. The food was fantastic and the service friendly. So lucky to have this little gem just around the corner.

The Admiral Inn is tucked away in Nutley Lane, surrounded by Victorian housing, a 7 minute walk from Reigate town centre. I really recommend you make the effort to find this pub which has undergone a complete refurb, including the installation of a wood fired pizza oven. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, and if you like a glass of wine with your pizza you can get two pizzas plus a bottle of wine for £29.95. Now that is a bargain!
We also really enjoy their burgers which consist of a top-quality patty and bun, all the usual extras plus great relish, lovely chips and a side salad. Lovely.
There are some pasta and salad dishes on the menu that we haven't yet tried, but I'm sure we will, because since discovering this hidden gem we've been visiting almost weekly! Highly recommend.

After friends had recommended this place for food we were left very disappointed.
I had the garlic mushroom bruschetta, 3 thin pieces of toast with a few mushrooms and a piece of grit the size of a pea! The waitress informed me it was a part of the pizza oven and that we wouldn’t be charged, this didn’t happen.
My friend ordered the pulled lamb kebab with gluten free pitta. There was no GF pitta, she ended up with barely a small handful of meat with a g salad garnish!! It was actually smaller than her starter but the price of a main!!
My husband and I had the Admiral burger, which was the size of a small McDonald’s burger, and came with small portion of fries. We ordered extra skinny fries but these were oily and limp!
The only good thing about this visit is that I didn’t chip my tooth !!

Stumbled across this pub en route to Heathrow and was very pleasantly surprised. Really tasty food, great service and there was a huge choice of gins which did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

Great local pub with great selection of drinks at a good price
Lovely food - they have a stone pizza oven which makes for a delicious meal. Also fantastic deals on pizzas and drinks making for great value
Attentive friendly staff!

I've been living in Reigate for 8 years but never visited until recently, having been 'warned-off' shortly after coming to the area with comments about dodgy clientele, poor hygiene standards and rubbish food. With so with many alternative choices I saw no need to visit.
As the Prince of Wales seems to be going downhill following the recent change of management I decided to challenge my prejudices and give it a go.
What a pleasant surprise!
Friendly, professional staff, good range of drinks (although ales usually limited to 2-3 pumps, but with good variety and focus on local brewers) and the food is tasty and well priced (for Reigate!). I shall be visiting regularly!

Friendly place that retains the features and atmosphere of a traditional pub, but also produces proper pizza (superb) and has a dedicated dining area to the rear. Best pub in Reigate - would recommend a visit.

Great evening in a cosy setting.
The food was fantastic. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. We will be back!
