Love it here. Gutted it's gone.

Came here with my daughter's for a mother's day treat. It was expensive, but well worth the money. We all had a great time & made some delicious chocolates to take home with us. I'm gutted that Chocolart has now closed in Reigate so we won't be able to do this again. :(

Over priced for what it is

For a 5 year old kid this might be interesting, but if you're after learning something about chocolate, chocolate making or even tasting some quality choc - you have been warned.

We paid £25 a head made three different kinds of chocolate and nibbled on chocolate snacks as we wanted to. Good fun clearly explained, clean and well organised. Great start having coffee and chocolate fountian snacks to start with. 7 of us varying ages . Spent about 2 hours having fun.

Loved the easter/spring workshop
Apr 2015 • Couples
We were the only people at the workshop and it was very relaxing.
The shop is nicely decorated, so it's very airy and light so you don't leave feeling tired at all. We really enjoyed it and thought that the price was quite fair considering you're paying for someone's time to show you, the space to use and the products to use and keep too.
Just to be aware: there's a multi storey car park across the road. We went on a bank holiday and as there was no one else there, we abandoned the car outside the workshop, off-road but you shouldn't really park there as the other businesses use those spaces.

Good fun morning but a tad overpriced
Oct 2014 • Solo
We spent a fun couple of hours learning about tempering and making chocolates at the Adult workshop. However compared to similar courses recently attended, course notes were scarce so had to scribble notes, and we used a lot of pre-made fillings and templates to make the majority of the chocolates. I presume we would have to buy these ourselves later. Inclusion of making simple chocolate ganache as well would have made the £50 more palatable.
I think kids would love this course and would definitely recommend it for them.

Fun craft for the sweet-toothed.

This is not a boutique chocolatier sharing skills or knowledge, but a hands-on fun activity for all ages. We softened, mixed and moulded fillings with our bare hands, and also piped and dipped chocolate. Chocolart provided Inventive ideas that we could creatively decorate and then wrap beautifully. We made large ice-lolly-shaped chocolates using pink (strawberry) chocolate, green (lemon and lime) chocolate and orange (orange) chocolate. We also made chocolate box type chocolates and chocolate balls piped with various ice-cream-flavoured fillings to go on real tiny cones. White and milk chocolate fountains made my children's eyes pop at the start, but were quietly cleared away, once we were engrossed in our activities. We were also treated to tasters of raspberry fudge and real mini ice lollies and there were plenty of teas, coffees and cordials to choose from.

The only negative for me was that the chocolates were rather too sweet for my taste, but then I prefer really dark boutique-style chocolates and the rest of the family had no complaints. Thankfully, there was refreshingly little to buy afterwards - souvenir aprons, badges, chocolate lollipops and huge bags of buttons - and no push to sell. We had our creations as souvenirs.

Original sin!

This is a unique and fun filled experience.
The premises is very well equipped and excellently staffed and we had a great time adult and nephew making some really original and surprisingly professional looking Belgium chocolate creations which we could take home with us.
There was coffee and many kinds of tea on hand too and the time flew past.
Sweet, sticky fun for all.

Took my mum there for a class to celebrate her birthday, had a great time. The lady teaching us was really helpful and we brought home yummy chocs we had made ourselves for our friends and family.
