Pleasant tree lined area, ideal for strolling with dogs or sitting by the river on a Summer's day. Beautiful row of old plane trees for shade and a few benches for seating. Cafe and pub for refreshments, band playing on Summer Sundays.

Also advise taking a small snack for the ducks as they are a magnet for all children. Beware of the swans though, they can get a bit boisterous!!
