Nice to be able to go to a cinema again. Could not book online as instructed because it does not accept the cinema vouchers that we wanted to use although it did at one time. I am disabled so we wanted to book a wheelchair accessible seat and we saw that other people already had. When we got to the Rotunda the lift to the level for the cinema was out of service. I am informed it has been for months. Last time I went to the cinema in Feb 2020 it was out. There was no one to ask about alternate access thru the loading bay as we had to do last time so we folded up the mobility scooter and just as we were about to board the escalator the security guard appeared so we shoo'd him away. No track and trace at the cinema. Very confused queue system with unmasked kids running everywhere. Limited choice of snacks and don't try to pay for anything in cash. Movie was ok but some teenage kids seemed to find it boring and ran back and forth uncontrolled at one stage. Disabled loo was flooded although they have secured the toilet seat which had been damaged forever. Same drama when it came to exit the rotunda had to fold the scooter and get it down the escalator. On the display it showed 2 sets of wheelchair level seats booked that remained unoccupied in our performance so somewhere out there are people who paid to see that movie and couldn't get in.

We returned to the cinema after 18 months away and couldn't wait to see the new Bond film on Sunday morning. Despite the early showtime the Costa coffee was so understaffed the line wasn't moving so after awhile we decided on a cold drink instead at the main counter. Staff there totally ignored us until I interrupted one to ask for service. No, they replied, you have to order by screen then collect here. So as we come out of Covid Odeon designs a system that requires you to touch a grubby screen touched by hundreds of others instead of just asking someone for a drink ! Huh ? We eventually did this after resisting the curious attempts by the screen to have us log in and register then eventually got our drink 20 mins after arriving. The cinema had ads on and was pitch black with no illuminated row markers meaning everyone had to use their phone torches to find seats . Luckily the film was excellent but we won't leave our sofa again soon to replicate that awful cinema experience

Went with a friend to see The Beekeeper with Jason Statham. The cinema is in a complex with a couple of restaurants. It is conveniently situated near Kingston station, modern and clean. It has several screens; we went to screen 11 which was a good size. If you buy tickets for the early (matinee) showing the price is quite reasonable.
My only complaint really is the lack of personnel. You are expected to do everything on screens near the entrance. NO. I would like to talk to human receptionists and assistants and buy tickets from them. And there was only one girl working at the food and drink counter. More staff please!!!

I took out Odeon monthly membership/subscription but gave it up after a few months as the few auditoriums (Richmond) I visited were brutally cold - I had to leave. Other cinema goers also cold. Ladies loos were never properly cleaned and looked scruffy. I contacted them about the cold but no-one bothered to reply so I cancelled my subscription, accepting it was not something they were interested in addressing.

This was my first visit back to a cinema after the whole pandemic lockdowns.
As such, I would have expected an exceptional level of cleanliness and care.
I was actually disgusted to be met by:
- A sea of popcorn on the floor amongst the premiere seats we had paid for. Which obviously meant nothing had been cleaned in between screenings. If you want to stop the spread of COVID then at least take the time to clean in between screenings. This was just horrible.
- The ladies toilets were in an absolutely disgusting state. Toilet paper all over the floor, hardly any stalls with toilet paper, wee all over the seats, brown splatters on the seats, hardly any soap available…..I honestly couldn’t believe this was the level of “cleanliness” the cinema was comfortable with giving paying customers.
Levels of cleanliness in these times should be an absolute priority. I was so unhappy that I’ve been put off ever going back to a cinema. I’d rather pay £20 to watch a film release on Disney+ than ever have to deal with that cinema experience again :(.

We complained to the manager about an awful family whose children were running around the whole time the film was on, shouting and spoiling the film! We were given free tickets to return at our leisure, she was extremely apologetic even though it wasn’t her fault. Great customer service.

Why are young children allowed in the cinema who clearly do not know how to behave. Would be nice if a manager made periodic visits to see if there are any disruptions. In addition a colleague made the comment that teenagers were taking the whole movie through.

Probably worst odeon let alone imax. Won’t go there again despite being closest. Understaffed with 17 year olds that don’t know what they’re doing. One asked me for ID when I’m twice their age.

This is our regular cinema, normally all good , friendly staff.
This is the second time we felt the very cold temperature in the cinema (screen 7).
The temperature needs to be seen to and adjusted accordingly. No need for cold air conditioning in winter. Disappointed.

Just watched with my wife Fast X at Odeon Kingston Upon Thames, Screen 3. Absolutely disgusted at the fact that the seating area hadn’t been cleaned in between screenings. Paid for Premier Seats, which are falling apart. £14.50 per person. Will definitely consider another cinema before visiting again. Very disappointing @ODEONCinemas.
