I recently took my younger brother and sister to see doctor strange 2 for his birthday and purposely took time off work to see it in 3D IMAX as this movie is meant to be very visual in its effects and there weren't many 3D IMAX viewings so I needed to take time off. When we got there which was roughly ten minutes after the adverts had started we showed our ticket and screen and were given 3D glasses. Part way through the film however it became clear the 3D wasn't working. We later found out some people had been told this upon entry but we had never been told. I asked my brother and sister if they wanted to leave so we could see it in 3D but we'd already traveled all the way there and weren't sure when we'd next be able to go or if we'd even get our money back and didn't want to risk walking out part way through to not be let back in or miss half the film so we decided to wait until the end to make a complaint. The whole movie we felt disappointed at certain scenes that would have looked amazing in 3D and upon asking for a refund we were told that's fine. Another worker then said they wouldn't refund us because we didn't walk out half way through (interrupting everyone else's viewing) but instead waited until the end. When their manager came a woman called Tasmin she was very rude and essentially blamed us for not walking out in the middle of it and said now that we've seen it in 2D there was nothing that could be done but if we had walked out half way through they would have refunded us. I said we don't even need a full refund tickets to see it again in 3D would've also been fine but we plan to see it again how we originally intended. She ended up getting rather rude and confrontational and a second manager came to tell us the same thing and that somebody should've told us before we went in which they didn't do. We paid to see it in 3D IMAX and because their 3D was broken and somebody didn't mention to us the 3D was broken before going in we were told to basically just deal with it and nothing could be done. Terrible customer service will be avoiding this cinema in future I understand the 3D not working and their employee making a mistake but the customer shouldn't then have to pay the price something should be done to remedy the fault and the mistake but the managers actively chose not to because we hadn't walked out in the middle of it. This logic was bizarre to me and ruined what was supposed to be a fun day out. The rudeness I was met with from Tasmin was definitely unexpected and the worst part of the experience.

Saturday I went to cinema to watch uncharted movie with my cousin I’ve enjoyed watching the movie uncharted, but the stupid boys (kids) kept on talking due the entire of the movie and kept on making stupid noises and I was pissed off about it because they don’t be quiet 🤫 when the film was on and kept on annoying other people who tried to enjoy the movie and also they kept their phones on and be noisy with it.

So odeon cinema can you be strict to young teens boys not to talk and play with their phones while the movie is on?

Please!

Thank you

Film screening watched in 13 on January 23rd 2022. The screening room was cold and unheated, I had my winter coat on all the time. Premium seats/reclining chairs & IMAX sound experience are all very well but not if you shiver for 2 hours ! By comparison all other areas of the complex were comfortably warm.

Everytime, and I mean everytime I go to this odeon there are disruptive teens/young adults in the screen. Just went to see a movie in screen 15 thinking it might be different but no, full screen and 2 groups of people who spoke and had conversations through the entire duration of the movie. Did go out to try and find staff to deal but couldn’t find anybody.

Use Epsom luxe which is 15/20 min drive from Kingston! While cinema is recliners and I have never experienced this type of behaviour there!

I know it’s not odeons fault as such but they could steady police it better

Amazing experience! Went to see Ghostbusters Afterlife and it was Great! Quick easy to use machines to order food and drink, lots to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff! Clean and smelling of freshly popped popcorn and coffee. The cinema was as clean as could be on a very busy Friday evening. Half the Soap dispensers were broken sadly. Can't wait to go again with my friend next week! I am a limitless member and come here weekly.

I went to see no time to die, which was very enjoyable, but only to be spoilt by the air conditioning being so cold , I had my coat on
And was still cold which spoilt the whole experience of what could have been a great afternoon’s entertainment

We returned to the cinema after 18 months away and couldn't wait to see the new Bond film on Sunday morning. Despite the early showtime the Costa coffee was so understaffed the line wasn't moving so after awhile we decided on a cold drink instead at the main counter. Staff there totally ignored us until I interrupted one to ask for service. No, they replied, you have to order by screen then collect here. So as we come out of Covid Odeon designs a system that requires you to touch a grubby screen touched by hundreds of others instead of just asking someone for a drink ! Huh ? We eventually did this after resisting the curious attempts by the screen to have us log in and register then eventually got our drink 20 mins after arriving. The cinema had ads on and was pitch black with no illuminated row markers meaning everyone had to use their phone torches to find seats . Luckily the film was excellent but we won't leave our sofa again soon to replicate that awful cinema experience

This was my first visit back to a cinema after the whole pandemic lockdowns.
As such, I would have expected an exceptional level of cleanliness and care.
I was actually disgusted to be met by:
- A sea of popcorn on the floor amongst the premiere seats we had paid for. Which obviously meant nothing had been cleaned in between screenings. If you want to stop the spread of COVID then at least take the time to clean in between screenings. This was just horrible.
- The ladies toilets were in an absolutely disgusting state. Toilet paper all over the floor, hardly any stalls with toilet paper, wee all over the seats, brown splatters on the seats, hardly any soap available…..I honestly couldn’t believe this was the level of “cleanliness” the cinema was comfortable with giving paying customers.
Levels of cleanliness in these times should be an absolute priority. I was so unhappy that I’ve been put off ever going back to a cinema. I’d rather pay £20 to watch a film release on Disney+ than ever have to deal with that cinema experience again :(.

I went to see one upon a time in Hollywood at this theatre two years ago.

The projector was not set up properly, creating a double vision image which made me feel extremely nauseous. Early in the screening, left the theatre and found an attendant and informed them of the issue. This attendant said they would resolve the issue, which they did not.

Nice to be able to go to a cinema again. Could not book online as instructed because it does not accept the cinema vouchers that we wanted to use although it did at one time. I am disabled so we wanted to book a wheelchair accessible seat and we saw that other people already had. When we got to the Rotunda the lift to the level for the cinema was out of service. I am informed it has been for months. Last time I went to the cinema in Feb 2020 it was out. There was no one to ask about alternate access thru the loading bay as we had to do last time so we folded up the mobility scooter and just as we were about to board the escalator the security guard appeared so we shoo'd him away. No track and trace at the cinema. Very confused queue system with unmasked kids running everywhere. Limited choice of snacks and don't try to pay for anything in cash. Movie was ok but some teenage kids seemed to find it boring and ran back and forth uncontrolled at one stage. Disabled loo was flooded although they have secured the toilet seat which had been damaged forever. Same drama when it came to exit the rotunda had to fold the scooter and get it down the escalator. On the display it showed 2 sets of wheelchair level seats booked that remained unoccupied in our performance so somewhere out there are people who paid to see that movie and couldn't get in.
