We visited here to watch my niece in her school Shakespeare production. This was my first visit and I was really impressed with this little theatre. A nice bar/cafe to meet and have a drink. The seats in the auditorium were comfortable. The stage is really big and you would have a great view from any seat, we were lucky... More

Visited the theatre on a Saturday night. Has a great cafe to meet friends before the performance. Staff are lovely and helpful, great atmosphere. We pre-booked some drinks from the bar for the interval.

We have enjoyed high quality productions here on many occasions and also some good comedy. I always keep an eye on the programme to see what's on as it is so convenient. Parking is easy just over the way and when you go into the Rose and show your ticket at The Box Office provided you park after 5.30pm you... More

The Rose Theatre in Kingston is almost in the town centre. Surrounded by good restaurants and pubs and easy to get to by public transport, car parking can be difficult. Founded by Sir Peter Hall, and modelled on the original Elizabethan Rose Theatre on London’s Bankside, Rose Theatre Kingston is the largest producing theatre in South West London. Not the... More

This is our local theatre. After much debate Kingston has its own theatre used for many things from the graduation ceremony to one man shows. Seating is a bit hard on the bum but it is manageable. The stage is right in front of you as in the old English theatre like the Rose. Last production we saw there was... More

I bought a ticket to see "good Canary" directed by John Malkovich. About the week before the play I received an email that my seat was upgrated due to restricted view. I was positively suprised, I also got a phone call from a very nice lady informing me about my upgrade. The theatre is new, its not like all of... More

We have plenty of great evenings here, the productions are generally well done and it is a great theatre space. We saw Good Canary last week, it was exceptional, but that is not unusual. Good value compared to the west End, much more intimate, and if you are well prepared and happy to spend an evening on the floor, tickets... More
