Great venue

Great venue - really well designed so that everyone is as close as possible to the stage. Good amounts of legroom on the seats. Very easy to get to.

The Rose is not a huge theatre and it gives out the impression of an 'art house' place. Whilst some of the plays and shows feature west end performances from well know people the small intimate auditorium and open plan common areas make it seem a small local venue. The seating can seem strange with double seats mixing with standard... More

Have you ever been somewhere and said " I don't understand why more people don't do come here?" I have been to the Rose Theatre 3x and every time we have had a great night out. Nice bar area, friendly staff, super theatre and stage - you feel close to the actors. And yet the Rose Theatre just doesn't know... More

Really enjoyed the recent production of Frame, organised by the Balletboyz. Sound & performance is amazing and so are the seats. Go and see a play or a music event there ...

Really good theatre venue, enjoyed the Comedy Store night here and also the Christmas play. Bar is reasonably priced too.

Stayed in Kingston for one night and came across this lovely theatre. Booked tickets for that night and enjoyed watching a performance of Shakespeare's King John. The theatre was not full but the performance was good. An unexpected treat during our short stay.

This theatre space is brilliant and the lobby area is well appointed and fun when crowded with excitedly chatting people . They often have good plays on here . A group of four of us went to the opening night of King John - directed by Trevor Nunn. This is a good play which was well presented and performed here... More

An excellent theatre. The acting was of a very high standard, and drew the audience into the performance. Seats are very comfortable. Would definitely go there again. The staff are very nice too.. all makes for a good evening out.

Arrived for a showing of Roald Dhals The Witches, unfortunately due to road works a journey that should have taken 40 minutes took an hour and a half. As a result we arrived ten minutes after the scheduled beginning of 11am. Many other families arrived late like us and the staff had their hands full managing all the late comers.... More

We went here to see The Witches today. We sat in the pits and my daughter got to high five a lot of the actors and actresses and once we looked at the programme she realised one of them was only a CITV actor and now she has heart shaped eyes and is on cloud 9 hahahah As ever the... More
