Love this theatre. Easy to get to and nestled amongst lots of restaurants, minutes from the main shopping centre and about a minute from the river so loads to do pre or post your theatre trip. I love the size of the Rose. Large enough to feel like a proper theatre, but small enough to feel intimate and cosy. Nice... More

Despite a stellar cast, the dormouse stole the show! We went to see "The Wind in the Willows", greatly enthused by last year's production. A most entertaining show. The young actors who are encouraged in this theatre, are astonishing. There was a wonderful cast for this timeless classic. Mr Toad, could have come from the pages of the book. Badger,... More

I visit regularly, some great productions here. Last one seen was All my sons, which was amazing. Relaxed cafe for pre or post theatre drinks. Cafe open through out the day for a restful stop if out and about in Kingston.

Utterly fantastic night, the door staff were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The seats were comfortable and the performance was brilliant very well cast!! The only area which wasn't amazing was the cloakroom the staff member told us she couldn't take the pushchair even folded and offered no alternative even though front of house had directed us to... The Rose is our local theatre and we have seen several shows over the years but last night the Rose Youth players presentation was wonderful! Excellent. All actors top marks.....Toad was magnificent even though he reminded me of Boris through out! (plus green hair!). Do go and see this production! However, It's a shame that some parents take children that... More

We visited here to watch my niece in her school Shakespeare production. This was my first visit and I was really impressed with this little theatre. A nice bar/cafe to meet and have a drink. The seats in the auditorium were comfortable. The stage is really big and you would have a great view from any seat, we were lucky... More

Visited the theatre on a Saturday night. Has a great cafe to meet friends before the performance. Staff are lovely and helpful, great atmosphere. We pre-booked some drinks from the bar for the interval.

We have enjoyed high quality productions here on many occasions and also some good comedy. I always keep an eye on the programme to see what's on as it is so convenient. Parking is easy just over the way and when you go into the Rose and show your ticket at The Box Office provided you park after 5.30pm you... More
