April to October, Turk Launches cruise along the most scenic stretch of the River Thames, capturing the history and beauty of Richmond, Kingston and Hampton Court. Their eye-catching fleet of five boats are each stylishly furnished, with a bar, toilet and outside deck. Nearby attractions include Richmond & Kingston Riverside, Strawberry Hill House, Poppy Factory, Teddington Lock and Hampton Court Palace. Many bars and restaurants can be found along the cosmopolitan riversides at Kingston and Richmond. Group bookings of 20 + get a £2 discount against a single or return ticket. Bookings must be made in advance. Private hire of the boats for private parties is available all year round, catering for 20 - 150 people.

Leisurely river cruise

A single cost a rather reasonable £12 per person. The boat travels at quite a leisurely pace, taking around 1.5 hours to get from Hampton Court to Richmond, but this creates a great opportunity to nose at all the lovely riverside properties on the route. It’s a good way of travelling to/from Hampton Court, but I’d recommend only getting it one way, as I can imagine it being a bit boring and repetitive if doing a return trip.

Private hire for Silver Anniversary

We took 30 family and friends on a four hour private trip on the Richmond Royale on Thames for our Silver Anniversary. It was fabulous! The Turks office staff - Maria, Ellie and Alex made everything so easy for us. They dealt directly with our caterers and musician - so we didn't have to worry about anything. One guest, who thought that the four hours might be too long, said that she could have happily gone round again! The boat crew were very professional and we knew we were in safe hands!
I can't recommend Turks Launches more highly - they even got the weather right for us!

Outstanding private cruise for a special occasion

From start to finish the service was friendly and exceptionally good. We privately hired a boat for a family member’s 80th birthday on Easter Sunday. The Birthday Girl had a special request to travel up to Sunbury Lock, which was gladly accommodated by Turks. We liaised through Maria for all the arrangements and on the day, Nick & Alex looked after us all so well. The private hire package was fabulous and the boat excellent. Thank you for a memorable day Turk Launches - highly recommended :-)

Beautiful river trip

Sat out front on this gorgeous looking paddle steamer in the glorious sunshine watching all that is happening on this lovely part of the Thames . Stunning trip ,stunning photos and lovely memories. We travelled from Kingston to Hampton Court and can highly recommend it . Staff were very helpful and cheerful

Excellent Boat Cruise

This cruise is definitely worth going on. You get to see beautiful scenery.
I went on two cruises yesterday, on Wednesday 31st August 2022, from Richmond to Kingston at 4pm and then Kingston to Richmond at 5pm.
The driver at 4pm named Shaun was very helpfull and kind towards my daughter.
And he also arranged for Paul to be very kind to my daughter on the return journey.
Both of the drivers named Shaun and Paul were very professional in their work. They were very understanding and helpful. I am going to recommend to all my family, friends and to my work colleagues to go on this boat trip. My daughter, and 5 other people who went with her all had an amazing experience ever because of these two gentlemen.
Thank you Shaun for making my daughter's day special and Thank you Paul aswell.
I would definitely recommend going on this cruise. Great service.

Richmond to Hampton Court return

Meeting up with friends and young boy. It was such a lovely sunny day and a lovely relaxing cruise there and return. Great to have a bar onboard too. Thank you for your professionalism and humour with all the tourists on their rented swan shaped pedalo and no idea with the rules of the river.

Cool breezes, and a cool crew......

As the 'heatwave' increases, this is the place to be, on a Turks boat, with the cool breeze in your face............bliss.
I've loved this company for such a long time - coming up to 40yrs.
The crew are always fantastic; they look out for passengers' comfort, and are efficient, welcoming and funny.
They're particularly great when we encounter daytrippers, in a boat or pedalo, going the wrong way, in confusion, and generally causing maritime mayhem. Turks crew are always sweet; nothing spoils the relaxing vibe.
They get us closer to our beloved river Thames - and in this heat, they restore our sanity.......................

Mellow Travellers Afloat

We had a perfect trip, we six overworked, stressed journalists. Getting out on the river for fresh air, scenery - and yes, a glass of wine, recharged our batteries.
There are other boat companies, of course, and all sorts of craft have been taking to the Thames, especially in our 'lockdown' era.
But this lot are the only ones I truly trust, and we always enjoy being on a Turks boat. The crew are perfectly trained, genuinely welcoming. They're efficient and they're good fun. What more could you want?
The virtual newsroom of the Morning Star newspaper was a happier, more relaxed place, thanks to this little trip. The editor missed it - and wants to know when the next one is....................

Pleasant jaunt along the river

Had a pleasant 45 minute round trip from Kingston toward Hampton Court. Reasonably priced bar on the boat.Friendly staff.When the pandemic is over will look to doing a longer trip.Cost was £6 concession,£8 normal fare.

Great Paddlesteamer trip from St Helena Pier Richmond

Had a pleasant 45 minute round trip from Richmond toward Teddington Lock. Reasonably priced bar on the boat.Friendly staff.Could have done with commentary for those who are not local of what we were seeing. Cost was £6 concession,£8 normal fare. You need to book in advance at the moment.
