Do not miss this ancient monument that unlike many modern structures, is a testament to the original builders and can stand up to modern traffic flows.

Came upon this lovely bridge after heading back into the town centre. This bridge sits over the hogsmill river and trout can be seen swimming in the clear water.

If you are walking by the river, its worth walking down this alley way to Clattern Bridge. It will take you to the Coronation Stone where seven Kings were crowned and you can also get to Kingston Market which in days gone by held burnings and hangings, but today is a vibrant market place. Besides all the obvious swans and ducks etc. look closely into this small river that flows under the bridge, it often has lots of trout in it. Worth a walk.

Interesting local history of bridge over the river Hogsmill, as it runs into the Thames. Lots of swans and other river birds to see, including herons. Nice walks around the area.
