Found outside the Guildhall, the stone has the names of the seven Anglo-Saxon kings carved out around the base supporting the stone. Worth seeing.

This is probably the most important thing to see in Kingston and yet it sits in front of the Guildhall, almost unvisited! This stone was used like the Scottish Stone of Destiny, but by the Saxon Kings of England. It has had several sites around...More

A little tucked away but a big bit of history. How Kingston gets its name and kids especially will love imagining it in use.

Quite interesting, tells you how Kingston got its name (coronation stone), quite a nice spot on the river - don't need to give it more than 10 mins!

This is an interesting historical piece, located outside the Town/County Hall (which is just outside the main town centre) - I do feel more could be made of it.
