Lovely place, but £3 car park, even if you're just popping in for a coffee

The forest is lovely, and the cafe has good food and fast, efficient service. There's a big... read more

This is a great place to spend the day with lots of things to do. Lots of parking available. We split into two groups and went on both of the go ape courses. The staff were excellent and it was very well organised. There is...More

We are locals. We use to use the Park a great deal. There was a lovely cafe there and fantastic walks. Car Parking use to be car parking ticket machines - free on sunday's and by the hour. We went once last year since they...More

The forest is lovely, and the cafe has good food and fast, efficient service. There's a big time-line on the wall outside which shows that they have worked very hard to make the attraction a super place - and it is.... but we only popped...More

Just got back from taking the kids, excellent fun, brilliant trail with activities for the kids. Would have got 5 stars if parking wasnt so expensive £7 for a few hours is too high.

We love going to this forest with the kids. You can get free parking a bit further down if you just want nature but if you want the full experience with the activities and go ape then follow the signs to the car park

Good for walking, running or cycling and with a nice cafe and kids play area, the only thing that lets it down is the cost of the parking which is extortionate

When we arrived there was a que around a mile long to get into the car park. The que soon went down and we found a space to park quickly. It was absolutely packed with adults, children and dogs around the opening area because of...More

This is a really good set up. There is plenty to do, Gruffalo trail, Gruffalo orienteering, Zog trail and a variety of Forest walks. We did Gruffalo orienteering which was good, but a little long. I thought £1.50 for the map was a little excessive...More
