I returned to the Antiques Warehouse again today after quite a while. There is certainly a massive amount of builder's work going on. The two staff, who were very welcoming, I don't know how anyone would think otherwise, took the time to explain that one of the barns providing half the area is being rebuilt and that there was another area housing more antique furniture which one of them showed me when I asked. I was told that despite the reduced area, they anticipate being able to reopen the whole area again early in the New Year, but they still have a wide selection of genuine antiques. And believe me they do. Their website, which I think has been developed this year, illustrates a good selection of the antiques they hold. Well worth a visit, I am by no means an expert but reasonable prices for quality antiques. I am giving it 4 stars because I couldn't give it 6 when the area being rebuilt is open.

What an absolute gem! First off, the drive to this little oasis of history is tree lined and absolutely stunning. I could spend hours here. So many pieces in impeccable condition. I went for the first time yesterday and returned again today. I can't wait to return to see what other treasures I can find. The staff are so very warm, friendly and attentive.

Highly recommend to anyone that loves going to antique shops. Perfect place to find gifts for loved ones (or you! Treat yo self!)

I love antique fairs and love buying unusual bits and bobs. I was taken to the Antiques Warehouse by my daughter and son-in-law as a birthday treat, to pick my present. Took me about 2 hours of wandering round and deciding, lots to look at. Anyway I finally chose 2 items - took them to the desk, and asked the lady "HB" what the 'best price' could be. "No movement" in either price. I asked again - perhaps a slight reduction as I was buying both. "You're not on television you know". I didn't want to upset my family who were treating me, so I just agreed on the full price for both items. Cherry on the cake, she short-changed me too! Luckily I noticed. Oh and she packed one of my items in an old cat food box!

I will never go back there again, because of that experience. Part of the fun of buying antiques is the thrill of negotiation, even just a pound or two off is a victory. She spoiled that by being so rude.

A lovely place with a very large selection of different antiques and collectibles. Nice staff/owners.

However, the prices for particularly the silver items are very high: it may be suitable for the area, but compared to where come from, these prices seemed to be about retail plus 30% - way above any suitable range for negotiation.

A pity, as it looks like such a good place.

For those with any disablement, you can park up closer to the place than the main car park.

We visited yesterday with a few items from my late mother's house, just to get some information as to whether they might be of any value. The owner just said "no" to the first couple of items even before they were unpacked. She was extremely abrupt and obviously considered that we were wasting her valuable time.
We totally understand that the items were not suitable for her shop but her attitude was condescending and unpleasant.

There are all too many bogus venues stocked with items that used to be sold in 'junk shops' - the modern equivalent being 'car boot sles'. We have bough Lego for our children from car boot sales - so we have nothing against them - but if you are serious about quality, the Antiques Warehouse sells excellent vintage furniture. There is also silverware marvellous Georgian furniture. The staff are courteous and informative - and best of all: they are not hyped up to makes sales. Tea and cake are available and also a pianist. What more could one wish?

If you are a Antique collector, and if you go to Farham, it's mandatory that you visit The Antiques Warehouse run by Hilary Borroughs. Friendly atmosphere, excelent people, sit around for a cup of tea or coffee, have a chat, and look around, you will be amazed at what you can find.

The Antiques Warehouse is a real hidden gem - it's not that easy to find; but when you do, it is stuffed full of beautifully presented antiques. It's a good place to visit on a dull weekend, coffee and cake is served with a smile to the tinkling of a piano - bliss.

We have been here before.
A beautiful old barn set in glorious surroundings, plenty of parking.
This is an Aladin's cave filled with beautiful and unusual antiques, The jewellery cabinets are filled to bursting. .Gold and silver precious gems some not so precious all beautifully exhibited, at reasonable prices.
The centre has numerous items, furniture, china, cutlery, kitchen wear, pots/pans I could go on but suspect you understand this is really a place to visit if you are looking for Antiques.
We received a very warm welcome as we entered, and the suggestion would we need assistance 'do not hesitate to ask'.
Well impressed.
Will definitely be visiting here again.
