Was trying to find a central location to meet with a friend and our two teenagers and my dogs. Have lived in Surrey for 20 years and never ventured to Epsom common before, it was a great walk around the lake and reserve. Easy to...More

Quiet, well maintained tracks for cycling, walking, running and dog walking. I never see rubbish left by anyone. Links to Ashtead common, onto epsom downs and Thames down link. You can run for miles, linking to box hill and Denbies keeping 95% off road, or...More

We've lived here nearly 40 years and never tire of it . You can walk right through to Ashtead from the Cricket Green on Stamford Green Road and there is always something of interest no matter what the season. Very old beautiful trees, wild orchids...More

Great open space near the community. Connects with Ashtead Common (SSSI) to make an extensive and varied habitat for flora and fauna. Good dry paths available for ramblers, families, horses, cyclists and dog walkers. Very safe area. Four good pubs within a mile of Ashtead/Epsom...More

Wonderful piece of common land available to all. Right on the edge of Epsom making you feel you are in the heart of the countryside, leading into Ashtead Common and over as far as the M25.

Don't get up there nearly as much as I like. But when we do - the dog loves it - it's almost as if she is aware that it is soooo much bigger than the park. And then there's the pint afterwards in the Rubbing...More

Car park isn’t huge but you can usually find somewhere to park. You can walk down to ponds on the common and continue on. Fairly easy walking, no hills and area to picnic. Maintained well now.

There’s a pond and room to picnic and play rounders etc and also the lovely pub The Cricketers for food and drink. Just a sweet little common.

Worth a visit. Well made paths & signposts, although the map boards didn’t have a “you are here” marker which seems a bit of an oversight. There are signs up warning of ticks on the common.
