About Hobbledown
Hobbledown is an extraordinary day out! Talk to animals, walk the high-ropes, get lost in the maze, prepare for battle with the Zorbs, hide in the underground tunnels but remember, unless you find the Crystallite all of this will disappear...

Brilliant day out with two young children (4 years and 21 months) Plenty of outside space with different play areas, sand pit areas, indoor play areas, lots of seating and shaded areas! The animals are all beautiful and look very well looked after and make it all that bit more enjoyable for adults too! Travelled an hour and a half today to get there today, and the same on the way home and would definitely come back!!

We'd booked a junior zookeeper experience for our two children (11 and 8). It had been postponed 3 times due to Covid but the staff were helpful with rebooking each time. Michael was our zookeeper for the experience and kept the kids interested and engaged. They loved it all, especially the meerkats. The play area is amazing and the food was great too!

I booked a zoo keeper experience for my niece who's 10, she had such an amazing time. Michael showed us round was so nice and full of knowledge, it was a very enjoyable experience. My niece said it was the best day ever. We have never been to hobbledown before, but it is definitely going to be top of our list to visit again.

I recently visited Hobbledown with my family and we all had a great time. It was very clean, well presented and the staff were all really friendly. The park areas were fantastic and the food was very yummy! Thank you Hobbledown, we will be back soon!

I first came here two years ago and it was fantastic fun but now in 2021 it is expensive, they are charging for activities that where free, not accepting cash, archery was pointless as they no longer do most of the activities with them and they only allow you four hours in the park but they do not tell you this until you have paid the entry fee. The management have become gready and made the day unpleasant.

We are saddened to read these comments. Despite being shut for several months due to lockdown restrictions the owners have invested heavily at the site over the past year. In 2020 new additions included a giant play castle, toddler activities, a water pillow and more, and for 2021 we have a new theatre and a large new toddler activity centre coming soon. Therefore we feel our prices are reflective of the facilities we offer. The High Ropes are the only activity you pay extra for once you arrive. We are sorry you did not enjoy the Archery as this is a free extra we put on to add value to your ticket. We are a cashless site due to Covid. When restrictions ease we will look again at this. When you arrive at the bookings page on our website the first message you are greeted by explains about the 4 hour stay. We would love for our guests to stay and play all day but we are running at a much reduced capacity and we have to cap numbers to keep Covid safe. Thank for you visiting and for your feedback.
