This is my favourite park in Sutton, in part because it’s so large and diverse. There’s a formal walled garden, a cafe, some loos, large fields with wild flowers in the right season and leafy tree lined avenues. The only thing that slightly detracts is the noise from the main road which you can hear in certain areas of the park.

We visited Nonsuch in June after restrictions where lifted as it was a good place to do a socially distance walk with so much space and wide paths.
A huge park with lots of places to roam and the walled garden is definitely worth a visit, the rose arbor is beautiful and the squirrels are very friendly to so take some fruit for them to they really do love it.
This is a very popular spot for families and dog walkers.
There is plenty of parking at each of the gates and if you fancy a coffee and a bit of cake there is a cafe in the house, however we didn't visit that whilst there so I am unsure if it is open at the moment.

I came here last summer on many different occasions. It is always such a lovely day out too. Not only is the scenery lovely, you definitely do have a break as well. What could be better? I love to sit here and have a open air picnic when it is hot. Nothing beats a picnic either.

Good for walks and the old Tudor building is nice to look at. I recommend it if you are in the area and need to do some exercise. This is one of my favorite places to visit of all time. On our last visit, I saw many other families sat on the grass enjoying the sunshine. We brought a Frisbee for the kids to play with.

When it is raining, you can visit the cafe. The food is good and you can treat yourself to a nice ice cream.

I had chosen to stop off in this area, after reminiscing about my time in the Netherlands, earlier in the day. Why so? A place I had lived, for many years - Brielle/Den Briel had been an English possession, given to Queen Elizabeth 1, under the Treaty of Nonsuch!!

Many years since I was last in this Park, but it was a pleasant, sunny day, and it was a good place to take a stroll.

Decent amount of parking and amenities.

The garden is very pleasant, and it was certainly a pleasant stop-off.

Beautiful green park, ideal for jog hi ing, dog walking, children with bicycles & balls & just strolling taking in the wild life & trees. Nonsuch palace in thre centre is a beautiful Tudor building set in ornamental gardens. Open at certain times to visitors. Coffee shop & public toilets. Dog water available.
Fun for all ages. Free parking.

Very large park with plenty of space to walk and social distance. There is a cafe serving takeaway drinks and ice cream. The gardens behind the house have plenty of seats, and good level walking paths.

But if you are not a dog owner they can be a pain. Most of the litter is from discarded dog poo bags. In the winter they hang like fruit in the trees. I pick up litter when I see it but draw the line at poo bags.
I love dogs, and appreciate that few people are likely to do the responsible thing and take dog poo home to their compost bin. Instead they wrap it in plastic.

If only dogs were restricted to a fenced off area when off the lead, leaving the rest of the park for people to enjoy and nature to thrive in. And for dog owners to walk their dogs on leads responsibly.

Nonsuch park is lovely, but there are so many dogs!

My three year old child has been scratched by jumping dogs on her face, knocked over three times; once whilst running , once whilst walking and once when she was sitting on a chair in the cafe! This is in the last six months. I even had one incident when a dog jumped at her in her pushchair and snatched a biscuit from her, this happened in seconds, it was a Staffie, (the owner had three of them), can you imagine the damage had the biscuit been in her mouth; the owners are clueless.
The fear of dogs that has resulted now detracts from our visits. Plus constantly avoiding the poo everywhere and bags of poo hanging from trees and bushes. We find that we are forced to stick to the dog free areas. Why are dogs given precedence over people? Surely children should be able to enjoy our parks and open spaces. The owners seem to think that it is their right to exercise their dogs in public places. It is only a matter of time before a child is seriously hurt.

Nonsuch is a large and lovely open space, much of which is not well utilised. I feel that Nonsuch park has huge scope for improvement and would benefit from a childrens play area, boating lake, nature trails, ponds, skate park, better cafe facilities, allotments etc....There are so many parks that go the extra mile and turn there spaces into something for everyone to enjoy, Nonsuch only caters for dog owners and I think that it is about time that the councilors responsible visited some other parks and found some inspiration.

Some of the people walking their pampered pooches in the park are deeply concerning - they let their dogs run wild. In fact, they have zero control over their dogs.
We went with my 2 year old and an awful woman with a plummy accent and unrivalled sense of entitlement to match had the audacity to ask if I could pick my child up 'Otherwise he'll be knocked over'!
There's just no negotiating with that level of mentality; I scooped my child up & left immediately.
I wish I had taken a picture of the revolting wench - she deserved to have her picture plastered across social media as a warning to any other people who encounter her.
The park is beautiful, but completely ruined by the likes of her & there is dog mess everywhere - revolting!

My old collie cross was attacked by a Belgian shepherd about a month ago in Ewell Court. The owner did not get off the bench and said that's for sniffing her bottom. I was shocked but have heard this dog has attacked other dogs. It's a five year old grey and red fur looks like a crufts dog. Please keep clear of this anti social dog and owner. He goes to Mansion House for tea so it's likely the owner would be seen there. If you see this dog with its owner please take a photo to warn others. Owner is grey haired and short I think they are, South African. We don't tolerate dog attacks here he should muzzle his dog and warn others. It's not acceptable to allow their dog to attack others and its not the dogs fault but the owners. Don't have a photo yet but I will have
