NO DOGS NOW Drove 60 miles to visit Coomb Wood/gardens as been many times in past (NB with a dog) but now live down on south coast. Found no mention of dogs now being banned on website (Croyden council), so really very unhappy and disappointed...More

Such a lovely place to visit and so nice that’s it’s free to enter and no charge for parking. Well kept gardens and good sized forest for little ones to explore.

I really like the cafe, in every season; it’s great to sit outside in the summer and cosy inside in colder weather. The food is good and you can linger for ages over a coffee. The park is pretty and is popular with families.

Lovely gardens, small wood and cafe with court yard. Visited with a friend, we loved the walk around this place. Suitable for all apart from the woods as it is on a steep incline so not for people with walking disabilities. The gardens are very...More

The grounds are beautiful, ranging from woods to run around in if you have the energy, a couple of trees that you can climb and a stretch of lawn that you can relax or sunbathe on. Been coming here for years both alone and with...More

Although the woods are a little more busier than usual because of the school holidays, you can always find a quiet spot to stop and just be at peace with nature. I do recommend wearing sensible shoes if climbing the stairs as they can be...More

This garden has to be seen around June July to seen it at its best, when the Rhododedendrons are flowering! They are a stunning assortment of colours and sizes, lining the footpaths that snake around the gardens. This garden is mostly hilly, and is not for those who have...More

Some of the trails in the woods are a bit rough, but probably doable. Wouldn't fancy the hill though!
