Throughout the "tourist season", there are streams of visitors every Sunday afternoon. It seems to be a popular venue.

Good way to pass a couple of hours. The FREE tour takes you to the top of the windmill where you can see some of the features. staff are informative and know their stuff.

This is a great windmill to visit on open days as the volunteers are so knowledgeable and engaging. Beautiful views and so well maintained.

So good to learn more about the history of our area from a group of enthusiastic volunteers. Lots of steps to climb so not the best for the very young or very old!

The Windmill is open on the first Sunday of every month through to October and on the London Open House weekend. I think it's open from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm and the tours go fairly regularly and last about an hour. If you... More
