Lovely Old Pub
Aug 2020 • Friends
Lovely old pub. We went last night for the first time since before lockdown, it was a lovely evening. The pub is very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. All covid rules are in place and a very safe environment.

Do not not annoy the locals :)
Fair play it's their pub and you are made to feel welcome, depending in which seat you take!
We enjoyed our visit and were served in good time. Great as it is near train station and way out

Good Pint of OP
May 2019 • Couples
A good pint of Old Peculiar served by a freindly member of staff. Good selection of cask ales. Felt like a proper local pub.

GREAT TRADITIONAL PUB
Mar 2019 • Couples
We found this pub 200 yards from the train station by chance. When we walked in we were greeted at the bar by two very friendly helpful ladies who explained what ales they had on that evening. I chose Old Peculiar which was perfect and well kept. The pub is very traditional and welcoming with good prices and you can watch the footy on a choice of many screens...…..well worth a visit

Came off the train about 7 thought we would have a few pints then home. Stopped in here good atmosphere, nice pint of Pedi and nice staff so I thought.
Bought a round £25.70 give 40 got change for 30 now I admit everyone makes mistakes but when I pulled the bar maid up about it the look of guilt on her face said it all.
Blond quite a big girl be careful!!!!

Our last visit before home. The beer is kept well, Old Peculiar on offer today
Sadly the cider is Strongbow. Even more sadly is being charged £2.10 for a half! We are in the Midlands not London!

Good for the station
Aug 2017 • Couples
Local pub, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Not a bad bar, a good pint and a good atmosphere.
Ok for one before getting the train or moving into town

A pub that knows how to keep its ale
Sep 2017 • Couples
Within 10 minutes, you're starting to wish you lived closer so the Roebuck could be your local pub. The place has a great feel about it, partly from the original pressed steel paneling which was made locally and exported to most of the colonies. Also very friendly, great sense of humour - and some of the best beer around. A little pricey, but worth the difference because it gives you a feel for what a really great pint is like.

Good community pub
Sep 2017 • Friends
The Roebuck Inn is a good community pub with lots of locals. It has a good range of real ales, including Pedigree and Draught Bass.
Worth a visit.

2 minutes walk from the station.

£3.50 for a pint is a fair bit for Burton but this is extremely handy for a quick pint before or after your train. The atmosphere was pretty dead, which was disappointing, especially on a Saturday afternoon game day. We stayed for one and continued into town.
