Wow!!! Staff Excellent. Hotel Amazing. Theme Park Amazing. Water Park Amazing. All round an amazing get away for me and my family, we had 2 days in the theme park and one day in the water park. We never found ourselves bored as there was always something to do. The entertainment was enjoyable for the kids in the evening and... More

We booked a short stay at the Alton Towers Resort which included 2 days entry to the park. Staying in resort offers early entry but this isn't a real benefit as they only open Oblivion & Enterprise. Great though if you have little kiddies as Cbeebies Land is also available early. The park covers a vast area and is set... More

I have visited England and Ireland last 23rd June till 26th July with my family; we all enjoyed our trip and I will write on many places I have visited but would like to point out one place which is Alton Towers that we visited on 20th July. Although it was an enjoyable place to visit, I would like to... More

Having frequented alton towers every couple of years over the last 25 years i was very disappointed in the state of the park upon our latest visit this week. Firstly the ticket prices were very shocking!!! £51.60 for an adult??? Whats more the rides had very long queues (over an hour in some places) so you couldnt get round all... More

I've been visiting Alton Towers since the early 80s and it's always been my favourite UK theme park. My how standards have slipped!!!!!! So during summer holidays - peak time - closed rides were as follows log flume, hex, driving school, smiler, Charlie & chocolate factory and oblivion for half of the day. Just not acceptable. You expect maybe one... More

Firstly, I have always been a fan of Alton Towers. For the past three years my family and I have stayed there. I cannot fault the accommodation although the food prices are a little high. The staff have always been friendly. The reason I have given this place a low mark is the park itself. My daughter is four years... More

This was our second visit with our 5 year old so we did spend most of the time in CBeebies land. We were staying in the hotel so had early entry thank goodness as waiting times were quite long for small children. However, we had a great day and will be returning very soon!

Alton Towers is great. Friendly staff, great rides and attractions with great hotels. There is loads to do for teenagers, adults and under 5s. Just be warned that several rides have been closed and these are the ones that our pre-teens enjoyed. There is still enough to do but I felt it was a bit much to close so many... More

We went as a family with one wheelchair user. Obviously not all the rides are suitable if you are in a wheelchair but there are quite a few that are. The staff were very accommodating and even stopped the rides for us t.o get on and off. The facilities for disabled were excellent.
