Having experienced other theme parks including the amazing Efteling in Holland, Alton Towers fails to compare. It seems like other people who have reviewed have only been to UK theme parks but they should expect better. On our visit we found litter everywhere and unclean...More

We visited Alton Towers for the first time as we live locally to Thorpe Park, Legoland and Chessington and wanted to try a new theme park. We were impressed with the rides and the queue times - longest queue we had was an hour for...More

Having not been to Alton Towers for many years, we decided to take our 11 year old son. It was very expensive for 3 tickets, and as a non-rider myself I find it absurd that there is no option to buy a non-rider ticket as...More

Attraction has become unattractive! Far too expensive. Visitors are seemingly paying the price of the park's recent safety failures! Won't be visiting again anytime soon.

A family trip out during the holidays, Staff were happy and helpful (never really had much interaction with the staff.) Park was clean from litter, although there are areas that could do with a bit of money being spent to spruce up the themed areas...More

Disappointing visit. Very expensive tickets then found car parking charge on top of £6.00. Most of cloud cuckoo land was closed, mine train closed. Not worth 150.00 for a family of 4 when not many rides available for 9 year old under 1.4m.

It's not always too busy but if you stand outside the park you can see them just as well and you avoid the crowds.Or if you really want to go into the park to get close up I'd go a bit earlier than usual.
