Good day out.....but busy

Generally very good, clean and lots of lifeguards. Really didn't like the number of people taking photos in the swimming area. Lots of kids around and felt it was unnecessary

In my opinion, the Alton Towers Resort is the best place to visit in the whole of Europe! This place has everything! Rides for people of different ages, it's set in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside, and the hotels are magnificent and truly have a magical feel to them! Alton Towers is incredible! Come and visit if you ever get... More

I must admit, as a 28 year old, this is still my favorite place in the UK! I've gone three times in one year once, but visited today and the rides I wanted to take my brother on had been closed down. Nemesis sub terror and Hex were shut and Charlie and the chocolate factory too. The only good change... More

Rides amazing. Queues not bad. Great deals on photos and uunlimited drinks. Awful food and service at the pizza and pasta place. Mouldy tomatoes, staff didn't care, sat us outside on filthy tables which we used half a pack of wet wipes to clean and have a bottle of the staff members spray on. YounG staff didn't apologise and didn't... More

Probably the best theme park in the uk. Shame it's so far away and so expensive to stay overnight :( I'd come more often if it was more affordable. You do really need two days to get around all the rides as queues can be very long. Not good for disabled people as even if you can walk and do... More

I've been here many times before and have thoroughly enjoyed the thrill rides, but never have I had such a bad experience. To begin with, I understand it was the last week of school so a lot of kids were coming here for fun, but it was just RIDICULOUS. Alton Towers could at least limit the tickets they sell for... More

I have a Merlin pass which I would totally recommend...... Alton towers is good but not great. They have closed several rides and as yet they have not replaced them....need a new coaster and a new water ride as a minimum.... Also it's awful for disabled as there are not enough forms of transport from some rides... If you are... More

Very pricey unless you get a 2 for 1 offer or free tickets. Amazing rides and the ques are definitely worth it, however, I found that the park lacked helpful staff and food establishments. The chicken place near oblivion was certainly over priced and not that tasty.

So we have just got back from our annual trip to Alton Towers, as ever we had a brilliant time and can't wait for next year. We stayed at the enchanted village again like last year and this year they looked better as the surrounding greenery had grown. The room was excellent , clean, shower great and bed comfortable. We... Great scenery and spread out nicely (not cramped up like Chessington and Thorpe Park) I had a disabled access pass for my son as he had just recently come out of a cast and his foot was still a little tender but could walk on it, when getting through to one ride I could not go on it and as...
