I live here and its a tiny seaside place this is very interesting we have so much on offer in late July we have a Carnival its great fun Pubs, cafes, its all here.

Not very disable scooter friendly but still a pleasant hour learning about the local history and seeing the saved artifacts. Made welcome by sea shanty.

Watchet clearly embraces its history as this is another small free museum. It won’t take long to walk around & gives a good insight into Watchet’s boating/seafaring history. It is free,but don’t forget to give a donation.

lots of interaction things to do, kids will love it, I loved it and I am not a kid! dog friendly as well. lots of maps and charts to look at, great place, no hard sell on the souvenirs either...

After visiting the very interesting General Museum in Watchet, I'm afraid we felt really disappointed with this one. The staff didn't seem to know much about the exhibits when asked, though one man informed us he was new, but surely he should have been better...More

Well worth the visit there is a lot of local history which is very interesting. A lot of work has gone into the mueum well done to everybody involved

To be honest, neither my wife or myself expected very much when we visited the Watchet Boat Museum. After all, it doesn't look very big from the outside, and we thought that a few minutes would be enough to see everything. How wrong we were....More
