What a lovely little museum. It's a tiny place packed with lots of history and artifacts. Well laid out and we'll kept premises. Well worth a look and it's free. There is a donations box and visitors book.

A great little community museum. Free to enter and full of local history especially related to the sea which has always been the main stay of this fascinating little port. Yankee Jack is on the quay in all his glory one of the last deep...More

We love Watchet! It's only a small town but made interesting by its beauty (right on the harbour), its history and the fact that Coleridge was inspired to compose The Rime of the Ancient Mariner here! This small museum is a must-see when in the...More

Possibly the only place to visit in this tiny tiny sea port. Away from the crowds. Popped in whist doing a tour of the coast.

Quaint little museum, but unfortunately not enough to entertain a small child so we didn't get to spend much time. If you have more time I'm sure you would get more from it then we did.

Lovely little piece of history in this very attractive little town, it costs nothing to see and spend a little time learning about this community.

This is a free small little museum that tells stories of Watchet & has some interesting memorabilia. It is very small so won’t take long to look around. Donations are very much welcomed. Dogs are welcome.

A good range of artefacts on display. Appealed to all ages - my 5yo grandson was as interested as I was. A bit tight for space, but a pleasant way to spend half an hour. And it was free (donation welcome, and made).
