Entry is a pretty pricey £7 but is certainly worth visiting if you like looking at well tended gardens. Afternoons only 2pm to 6pm.

An extensive and delightful garden with an extensive collection of camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons which are in superb colour at this time of year.

This is a garden we have visited in the past. This visit was out of season but still a delight. It's beauty is probably best appreciated in May/June. The guardians of the garden are wonderful hosts.

As far as I know they are allowed..The lady who was watching over the place was from U.S.A...and was related to the woman who had started and cared for the gardens, before she passed away..She had her small-ish dog with her... More
