Nice little pub serving reasonable food at reasonable prices. Not sure food is as homemade as stated. The interior was looking a bit tired and the landlord was sometimes a little strange. Beer was good though. Pub is closed on a Wednesday which was a...More

We stopped in for lunch while exploring above Minehead. What a find! The beer and local ciders are well kept, and the food is amazing. I had the fish pie, which was clearly homemade and packed with fresh chunks of fish. My partner had fish...More

Nice food and the pub is in a beautiful area However I have to say we found the guy at the bar pretty unfriendly and offhand He did not bring the bill when requested and did not enquire as to whether we enjoyed our meal...More

Had a lovely light lunch here, midway through a walk in Exmoor. The welcome was friendly, good choice of ales and food very tasty.

Loved this pub. Proper honest British pub serving excellent food in generous portions. The steak in ale pie was really good and the Thai green curry delicious. The landlord is a real character and such fun, and we loved the ‘placemat quiz’. Will definitely be...More

Good food and good ale. Just a very short walk from the campsite where we were staying, and dog friendly too. The cryptic quiz placemats were a fun touch although after an ale or two there were very few answers written ;)

The meal here was good and cooked well. The atmosphere however was not particularly welcoming. Definitely a pub for locals rather than visitors. Bar area could do with a spring clean, particularly the windows.

Very good home cooked food, fantastic quality and very reasonably prices. The game pie is a must! Dog friendly which is a bonus (although they only have 6 tables inside for dogs so booking a must to avoid disappointment).
