Early October and the locals were swimming in the Marine Lake. Lovely bit of local history. There is an interesting short walk just to the South, the Poets Walk.

I have known the lake all my life and was so pleased to see it refurbished and improved a few years ago. Such a wonderful asset for the town.

Sitting just along from the seafront it is absolutely fascinating. Approximately 250 metres long it makes for a great place for open water swimming.

When families visit Weston and the tide is out, just take the kids to marine lake where the tide is always in, its safe and plenty of sand to play on.

We have recently moved to Clevedon and the marine lake is one of our highlights of the town. It has a great atmosphere in the summer, when we enjoyed a couple of swims when the weather was hot. It gets good use in all seasons...More

We live in the US. We do not have these types of facilities. What an incredible place to swim and spend time with your family. LOVED it.

Visited here a few times during our stay in Clevedon, mainly to crabfish but enjoyed watching everyone swimming and playing in the lake or using floats and dinghys. Could do with a bit of a clean but didn't seem to bother anyone swimming in it.

Visited this lovely area several times and I'm always drawn towards this beautiful marine lake. What a really nice facility for locals and visitors alike. Plenty to do round and about, paddle boards to hire etc or just chill out with family and friends
