Great walk along the costal path which ends up at saint Andrews Church which was the church used in the TV drama Broadchurch with David Tennent. Warning the pathways have not been strimmed this year so i suggest your wearing trousers due to sting nettles. There is volunteer's doing there best to keep the paths clear which is not easy when you walk back to the Marine Lake i recommend a nice cold drink at the Salthouse where you can choose from lots of craft beers & the food is to a very high standard at a great price & the produce is sorest local where possible. The Garden is a great seating area with one of the most beautiful captures in the south west. If you do decide to picnic on the hill off Lovers Walk please remember to take your rubbish home with you as the bins in this area are only emptied once a week. Thank you for visiting Clevedon & have a safe journey home....

A bit different from the other walks but it’s always good to be by the sea and to enjoy varied and interesting views

Part of a long coastline footpath
Oct 2020 • Couples
This footpath links the Poets Walk and the Coast Walk. It skirts the edge of the channel and is well maintained. The views are lost behind hedges at points but where there are gaps you can see towards Clevedon pier and across the estuary.

Great walk with sea views leading to the bay. Sheltered but could maybe be muddy in the rain, we walked in sunshine.

Lovely walk along the cliff side, although as it had been raining in the last week it was very muddy! Still lovely views and lively walk

Ladye Bay and back
Jun 2018 • Couples
This walk extends from the Marine Lake, along the seafront, past the Grade 1 listed pier and on for a mile or so upstream towards Portishead. Then take the steps leading down to Ladye Bay's delightful rocky beach. Once there we usually enjoy a picnic no matter what time of year it is.

Great walk--wear wellies
Mar 2018 • Solo
Through my various pereginations, I am gaining a deep understanding of the weather situation in England. This walk is beautiful, but you really need to wear wellies if it has rained recently (in the last day), as the path is quite muddy. That said, the trail itself is a real gem for anyone who is suitably dressed. You can walk as far as you like up the coast, with great views all along the way. At some point there is a gorgeous cove filled with broken shells and rocks. There is a wood staircase leading down to that part of the beach. Most of the rest of the walk is right along the path above the beach on a cliff of sorts.

We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing high tide and the force of nature as a heavy swell battered and sprayed Clevedon sea front the force at Spray Point on Beach Road in Lovers Walk.
