Through my various pereginations, I am gaining a deep understanding of the weather situation in England. This walk is beautiful, but you really need to wear wellies if it has rained recently (in the last day), as the path is quite muddy. That said, the...More

We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing high tide and the force of nature as a heavy swell battered and sprayed Clevedon sea front the force at Spray Point on Beach Road in Lovers Walk.

Whatever the weather this is a pleasant (if sometimes bracing) walk to do. The route is mainly flat and the pavement is generally wide and in good condition. Great for children on scooters etc, as well as pushchairs and wheelchairs.

I have recently been reliably informed by long term residents that the start of Lovers walk is actually at the Clevedon marine lake running North for approximately 6 1/2 miles along the East bank of the River Severn to the Portishead Marine lake. Some of...More

Enjoyable walk up historic seaside promenade and up to the pier. There is a mini golf course, entertainment arcade, an old bandstand which had been refurbished.

This coastal path starts at the top of the hill on Marine Parade and continues upstream by the River Severn for six miles (10kms) to Portishead Lake Gardens. It is undulating and runs through Redcliff Bay which is a National Trust reserve. The views across,...More
