Good to see that they do change their main hall round and show different aircraft and vehicles each year. This year the main exhibition hall was based in and around the cold war with a moving memorial to the Berlin Wall and all those who perished trying to escape over it. Interesting to see films of the Air Bridge that... More

We came here from Sussex on a special trip for my 70th birthday and went round on a wet Monday morning. An excellent place and well worth the journey. Plenty to see and things I learned about. I really valued being able to get right up to the exhibits. I hadn't realised how big the TSR2 was until standing next... More

Three hours went so quickly, lots of planes, information, attractions. Hope to come for air show later! Loved Cold War exposition, much better than read a book :)

We mainly went for the Cold War Exhibition, however, the Royal Air Force Museum section was much more interesting that we expected! Food at the cafe was surprisingly good as well. Novelty ducks excellent!

Amazing place, full of aeroplanes, both modern and old, and displayed superbly. We were particulary impressed with the C130 outside, and the lightning in the more modern display hall. We stopped for a drink in the cafe and discovered the best sausage rolls ever too!

On the way to the airport from Patshull Park Hotel we decided to visit the museum. It was a great decision! We spent there 4 hours in that amazing location. Wonderful airplanes, great educational "stations" for kids. Perfect for families. The exhibition is brillaint!

We had a great day day out for my Uncles Birthday at Cosford. He served in the RAF in the second world war and really wanted to view the Wellington Bomber at the museum. Thanks to Val for all the arranging and to Darren for an excellent guided tour around the conservation centre. The information was so interesting and brought... More

March 2017. Large car park (small charge) slope upwards to the entrance then easy to get round and view 95% of exhibits. Information desk on entry which is FREE, shop, large cafe at the entrance and other snack bars around the site. Picnic tables and plenty of toilets. All this before viewing a brilliant display of aircraft and memorabilia with... More

I visited here with a self-confessed plane fanatic and so I expected to be bored. In fact there was far more here that interested me than I expected. The whole thing is laid out well over a series of hangars with plenty of seats to rest or just admire the planes. The section on the Cold War was amazing. The... More
